Mr.Anderson's POV:
I watch my little Rose as she plays with her new friends. I have been watching Rosabell ever since her mother died. Her mother Diana was supposed to be my wife until she was taken from me that is her husband. After she passed I was going to make sure I would take my little Rosabell for myself. I am watching her from the shadows and because my power I can not be seen when I am in the shadows and I can also manipulate darkness and shadows. I'm in my black panther shift so it helps me more when I am in the shadows. After watching her for a bit I go back to the school shifting back before I get to school. I walk back to my office going back to work.
Rosabell's POV:
Me and my friends talk for awhile, just getting to know each other. After we started talking I have gotten more and more comfortable with them. After a little bit Gracie all of a sudden gets tense closing her eyes.
“Gracie, you okay?” I ask looking at her a little worried.
“Gracie what do you feel?” James asks.
“What are you talking about?” I question looking confused.
“She has the earth power, she can feel the vibrations in the ground to tell if something happening.” Kat explains.
“Someone is here.” Gracie says opening her eyes again.
“Where?” James asks looking around.
“It's gone, weird I guess it was a false alarm.” She says relaxing a little. We all nod relaxing a bit as well.
“Rosabell, do you not know what a power is?” Kat asks looking at me.
“I know what a power is because my dad has the firepower but I have never seen it done before.” I say looking at them.
“You mean you don't have your power yet?” She asks looking at me shocked. I just shake my head no.
“My dad has never really taught me about powers and all that because he is really protective of me after my mom passed away.” I tell them.
“Oh well I'm sorry to hear that.” She says but I just shrug it off.
“It's fine really.” I smile at them trying to show them that I am actually okay.
“What power did your mom have?” James asks.
“She had the icepower.” I tell them then they all look shocked. “What's wrong? Why is everyone so shocked? “I ask confused.
“The icepower is very rare and Rosabell, you should be very careful because some people mostly hunters if they find you let's just say they won't be too nice to you.” James explains his eyes showing worry.
“Thank you for the information but you don't have to worry because I don't go out much because I am already afraid of hunters.” I say shivering in fear a little from just saying that word and from the memories of them. They all just nod probably because they don't want to bring up any memories. “Should we get back? It's pretty late.” I ask not wanting to be out in the woods when it gets dark.
“Nah we love to go hunting in the dark that is best time to go hunting.” Blake says smiling but I look at him with fear in my eyes not wanting to do that at all. “You okay?” He asks seeing the fear in my eyes.
“ Yeah I'm fine but I think I will just head back to my dorm, my dad is supposed to call me soon.” I tell them because my dad is actually supposed to call soon and not just because I don't want to be out here any longer.
“Okay Rosabell, want me to walk back with you?” Kat asks.
“No thank you but thanks you guys have your fun see you later.” I tell them quickly walking away back to the campus after I switched back into my human form. When I get back I quickly make my way back to my dorm and close the door. I walk to my bed and take my phone out of my pocket just as my dad calls so I unlock my phone and answer it. “Hey dad.” I say sounding happy that I get to talk to him.
“Hello my little Spark, how is your first day at college?” He asks using the nickname that he gave me when I was little.
“Collage is good. I like the dorm.” I say to him knowing that I would say that.
“Bell you need to go out more that is why I sent you here so you could come out of your shell. I went there when I was your age and it helped me too when I was shy and look at me now you can't get me to shut up.” He chuckles. “I am serious Rosabell, please try to go out more and make friends instead of staying in your room with your nose in a book.” He says scolding me a little because I know I should go out and be more friendly but I am just too shy and don't like to be around a lot of people I mean I did like Kats friends but even then I was still shy and a little uncomfortable.
“I know dad, I'm sorry but it's just so hard to make friends and be social. You know I act this way ever since mom got killed by those hunters.” I sigh trying not to remember what happened to her.
“Spark, I know it has been hard on you and I'm sorry I have been pushing you to be out more but I'm sorry to say this Bell, it's true. You can't just live your life in fear from what happened to mom. Yes you can still be cautious but if you have friends they will be there to protect you.” He says probably getting that from the wise words from dad book making me laugh a little.
“Okay dad, I will try to be more social and try to make new friends but I did meet my roommate and her friends and they were really nice.” I comment.
“That's my girl, keep seeing them and talking with them and I bet you in a few weeks all of you will be good friends.” He says sounding happy which makes me smile.
“I got to go Spark, I will talk to you soon. Stay safe and remember what I told you.” He tells me. “Good night My Spark, I love you.” He says using his baby talk that he knows I hate.
“Love you too dad.” I laugh hanging up. I put my phone on my bedside table while grabbing my book from there and sits on my bed. I open the new book that I got before I got here so it still smells like that new book smell and the pages are all crisp and clean.
“Hey Rose I'm back, sorry it's so late we were chasing some good game that took a little while to get down.” Kat says looking at me with a big smile on her face.
"Its fine Kat but I am going to head to bed good night." I smile at her and turn my light off on my bedside table and curl up in the covers glad that I have some friends.
