You and Grayson have been best friends for about 4 years and you absolutely loved him, his sister, his mom and dad, but you couldn't stand his brother Ethan.
He was always so rude to you when you came around and you never understood what you did to make him so angry, it wasn't like you were dating his brother, the both of you were just friends and that's all you wanted.
Today was another day where you and Grayson had plans to go out for breakfast and spend the day together, as you were in your closet picking your clothes out your phone started ringing.
You walked over to the nightstand where your phone was laying and looked to see that Grayson was calling, "Hello?" You answered, "What's up Gray?"
"Hey Y/N/N, sooo I kinda feel bad for Ethan.. His girlfriend just broke up with him and he's so sad about it. I know you guys hate each other but do you mind if I bring him?" He asked hopefully.
Yes you couldn't stand Ethan, but you had a big heart and hated when people were sad and felt left out, so no matter who the person was you were always one to help, "Of course Gray, I don't mind.."
"Thank you so much Y/N, I'll see you soon!" He told you before hanging up the phone.
After letting out a sigh of frustration you went back into your closet to find your outfit, you decided on a black bodysuit with some blue jeans, a black and white cardigan, and some simple black heels, you also packed a pair of Steve Madden slides for when your feet started to hurt.

As you finished your hair and makeup you heard the doorbell ringing downstairs and you quickly grabbed your purse, keys, and phone and walked to the door.
You opened it to see Ethan standing there, the smile that was on your face slowly started to turn into one of concern as you saw his red eyes and pale face.
"Are you oka-" He cut you off with a rude tone.
"Come on, Grayson is waiting in the car." He turned around and walked to the car and got in the front seat next to his brother.
You got in the back seat of the Range Rover and greeted Grayson before an awkward silence took over and you couldn't help but feel bad.
After getting to IHOP you got out and quickly walked in to get a table reserved for the three of you, Ethan and Grayson walked in a few minutes later, you assumed they were outside talking.
A couple minutes later the waitress calls you guys to your table and you decide to sit next to Ethan and across from Grayson.
That caught both of them off guard.
You were handed your menus and the stares from both boys didn't faze you as you looked at the menu, "What are y'all gonna get? I'll probably get my usual.." You say casually, your eyes never leaving the paper.
"Uh-I-Uh-Uh I'll probably get an omelette or something.." Grayson was in awe of your casualty.
"What about you Ethan?" You asked looking over at him.
He rolled his eyes before looking over at you, "Why do you care?" He asked rudely.
"Because I'm a caring person, something you would know about me if you actually took the time." You said before taking a deep and annoyed breath before looking at the menu again.
You could see in your peripheral vision that Grayson's eyes had gone back to hopeless ones as he looked over at Ethan, he too went back to his menu and looked in silence.
"I'll probably get the red velvet pancakes or the chocolate chip pancakes.." He said as he read the two options out loud.
Your head popped up and a smile appeared as you looked at him, he slowly turned to look at you and a smile grew on his face.
After ordering the food everyone started talking about various things, when suddenly Ethan stopped mid-sentence and looked over at the door.
You being the nosey person you are, you and Grayson looked in that direction and saw Ethan's ex-girlfriend with her new boyfriend. You quickly tried to turn back around and distract Ethan, but he'd already started to stand up and walk toward the bathrooms.
Grayson went to go after him, but you touched his arm and told him that you would talk to him.
Walking quickly trying to catch up to Ethan, you finally grabbed his arm before he could walk into the mens bathroom.
"Don't fucking touch me! Leave me alone!" He yelled.
"Shh Ethan!" You told him as you pulled him into the girls bathroom, it was the one with only a toilet and a sink so you didn't have to worry about anyone coming in.
"Talk to me, what happened between the both of you?" You asked him as he walked back and forth.
"She'd been cheating on me with that guy for 3 months and when I found out she just broke up with me." He told you.
"That bitch..." You said quietly to yourself, "She doesn't deserve you Ethan.."
He backed up to the wall and stood there with his hands covering his face, you walked and stood in front of him.
"I know you hate me, but I think you're an amazing person with a big heart. I knew that when you confronted her you had no intentions of breaking up with her, that's why it hurts so bad.."
He nodded his head, the tears were still streaming down his face.
You gently took both of his hands in yours and pulled them away from his face, forcing him to look at you, you let go of one of his hands and gently wiped away his tears, "You are amazing and talented Ethan, don't let anyone take that away from you. Not even some corner store hoe that wanted nothing more than your money and fame."
He looked at you for a minute before he slowly leaned in and kissed you.
Fireworks were going off as you deepened the kiss and wrapped your arms around his neck.
When you pulled away the both of you had smiles on your face, "Let's go back before our food gets too cold."
Ethan laughs and nods as the both of you walk hand in hand to the table.
"Woah what happened in there bro? Your hair is all messed up!" Grayson said with a mouthful of food, "Sorry guys, I couldn't wait.."
"Let's just say I have a new girl.." Ethan told him before looking over at you.
