Hey everyone! I know it's been a while since I've posted, but something has come to my attention.
First of all, I have to say one thing: if you're a writer, be creative! Do what you love. Create your ideas into words. That's exactly what I did when I came up with this story. At first, it was just a little joke between my friends and I, but the next thing I know, it has 10k reads. I'm not complaining, in fact, I am greatly honored. Thank you to each and every one of you who have read this.
But, saying what I was earlier, if you're a writer, write from your heart! Spread your ideas. Don't spread anyone else's ideas, especially if you go and publish it as your own. Don't steal from other writers, it's not cool.
Thus said, I have come upon another social-media based Jared Gilmore story called "Wait For It" by
@-supernovas, which, is basically a ripoff of Lovebug. I know it may only seem like I say this because it's a social media story, but as I read through the book, I noticed a lot (I mean A LOT) of things either too similar or even plagiarized to my writing.-
First of all, the storylines are completely the same. In Lovebug, a girl is cast onto OUAT and falls in love with Jared through social media. "Wait For It" is no different. You can see the similarities in the first chapters of the two books. The first picture is from my story and the second is from the other book.- If you want to know more about the similarity between these two, it would probably just be easier to read the chapters side to side. There's a lot more I still want to talk about and I don't want to get too in depth with just this one similarity.

The next chapters aren't too different either. The protagonists are formally introduced (via Instagram), and the writer of Wait For It had no hesitation in copying what I wrote. Again, the top picture is mine and the second is from the other story.
