Kiki walked into a very quiet Rodgers center ready to start her job. She's just resently got promoted to assistant manager. The old one got fired after coach seen him stealing things from the locker room. Kiki swiped her badge in placing her nametag on headed for her office. Once inside she checked her phone messages. Jotting down some quick reminders along with her lunch order before she would forget. Suddenly the building wasn't so quiet anymore as someone was opening the zamboni doors. Quickly glancing at the clock then grabbing her clip board she was out the door heading to the confrance room.
She quickly walked down the empty hallway the only sound was her high heels on the concrete. She noticed only a few people were inside the confrence room meaning not everyone would be working. Quickly sneaking in she took her normal spot right next to her bosse's chair. The room was quiet for a few more seconds just as vicky walked in holding a huge box in her hands she quickly placed it on the desk. She started pulling out random items with the canucks colors and some player's name on the back. Placing all the items in the center of the table she tossed the box onto the ground.
" Good morning guy's, today's going to be a busy day" everyone just sighed
" As we know the opening night for the season is tommarow" no one moved
" That mean's we have to get everyone on the same page, it's decoration time" that's when everyone started getting jumpy, eveyone loved decorating the arena with the new posters and other items.
" With that don't hurt yourselves , and don't distrupt the players" with that vicky left the room
Kiki gathered her clip board heading back to her office to switch out her footwear. Placing the clip board on her desk she kicked off her high heels reaching into her bag. She grabbed out her shoes quickly shoving her heels inside the bag. Just then someone appeared at her door leaning aginst it. Looking up she smiles seeing that it was vicky not many people knew that they grew up together. Over the years they promsied each other they would work for a hockey team. Sure enough they ended working for the canucks their all time favorite team in the whole league. Kiki took off her blazer leaving it on her chair as vicky handed her something. Kiki unfolded the paper quickly reading what was written in chicken scratch. She had to re read it to make sure she wasn't day dreaming.

I'm suprised that you can read my chicken scratch most of the guy's cant read it, but screw them for now, I have a favor to ask you and i know since your my lovely cousin and tommarow is the big day and a special friend of mine need's a date and no im not talking about Kess because unlike last year andrea's comming, and no their not trying to conceve anytime soon, kess told me to write that in there. but moving on later when your done decorating come down to the room, the mystry guy will be there- later alex
Vicky glanced over her shoulder as they made their way towards the front of the arena. Vicky watched as the other employes decorated with blue and green garland. Some where just having fun while others took it to serious. Kiki folded the letter placing it inside her pocket for safe keeping. Vicky turn to check on kiki as they slowly walked over to the group to help. Vicky helped them decorate the entrance for a while before going outside. There was a whole other group working on puttiing real life sticks of the players on the outer side of the building. She was pretty busy not to notice kiki sneak off.
Kiki has had enough for one day of trying to help people decorate they would ignore her. So she left them all alone going off to see the mystery guy. She quickly ran back up to her office to check her phone because she couldnt have it on her while decorating vicky would get mad. She also quickly changed into pants. She didn't want the boys to think she was all work no play knowing her lovely cousin alex. Sure she's proud to be his cousin but if some certin employess found out they would stalk her ever move. Grabbing her phone shoving it into her pocket she ran down the tunnel towards the locker room.
Once at the locker room she calmy knocked on the door. She wasn't about to barge into it seeing as the boys just got done with practice. She waited a few momen't before the door opened to no other then alex with a big smile upon his face. He walked out for a moment leaving the boys to talk as she heard some yelling her name. She laughed taking a step back as the door shut .
" hey it's still early, how did you get away from decorating" alex asked
" I left , they didnt need my help, and i was hoping to skate with some of my boys"
" it look's like your late, but theres somone still out there waiting"
" don't tell me you have him waiting for me you jerk:" kiki says
" he's just finishing up, if i give you my skates you can go meet him" alex says dissapearing into the locker room not giving her a moment to respond. He comes out handing them over.
" Alex you know its been forever since i skated "
" He'll help you i told him already" he says
" Ok, but you owe me something for this "
" Like what name it it's yours"
" Time with miss victoria" kiki says
" you got it , now go out and meet him"
" alright im going" kiki says taking his skates
Kiki walks down the tunnel towards the ice leaning aginst the wall to lace up her skates. She then walks down the tunnel throught the players entance. She look's around as she see's someone working on slap shots. From her view it could be any of the young player's because she's seen the vets all the time. She steps onto the ice moving her feet slowly as she glides towards the person. She tries to stop but somehow ends up falling onto center ice. She blushes knowing the person just saw. moments later she hear's him approaching.
" Here let me help you" he says bending down
" Thanks im kiki alex cousin" she says
" I'm david booth, im sure alex has told you stories'
" hopefully not embarrasing stories like he's probly told you about me"
" he accutaly hasn't been saying mean things, just nice things"
" wow that's a shocker knowing him"
" but i just got to know him,mayebe he's saving the juicy stuff for later"
" now that's the alex we all know and love "
" He said something to me this morning on how he found me a date for tommarow" he says
" Yes, and umm im your date" kiki says blushing
" aww sweet , i just got out of a relation ship, and was afraid i wouldnt get a chace to find a date"
" oh im sorry it must be hard dealing with a broken heart"
" No, she was just after me for the money, i need someone to just be themselves" he says
" More like someone who can embarasse themselves all the time" kiki says
" not all the time, just a nice girl"
" Cool, so what color are you planning on wearing"
" I was thinking blue dress shirt and greem tie, no tux for me " he says
" Ok cool after we finish up i have to go shopping for a dress "
" I take it you dont own many" he says
" No only black and red ones"
" Oh because if you want i can take you out to lunch, then possibly help you pick out your dress" he says
" Sure i would like that, " kiki says
" then let's go, i just need to stop and change and shower fast "
" sure i have to go gather my things"
" meet at the front in thirty ? "
" sure, wait can you return these to alex please"
" sure thing"
He helps her off of the ice where they go their seperate way's.
