1. The Move

•Kay's POV•

"KAY GET DOWN HERE!"

My dad is always really loud.

"IM PACKING" I shout back at him.

I'm leaving to LA in 2 hours. I love Texas but I'm ready for change. I will miss my horse, Yang though. My mom had Yin and I had Yang, before my dad forced her out. Well, he hurt her. and I can't wait to leave because of it.

I grab my bags and go downstairs.

"I'm ready" I tell him as he eats his sandwich. He's so fat.

"ugh, I'm gonna miss you so much love bug," he says as he starts crying.

"it's okay dad" I tell him even though I can't wait to leave. my mom is my world. and for him to hurt her, makes me hate him even more.

"okay, are you ready?"

"yeah dad."

we get in his pick up truck. I think I love this truck more than I love him. when we get to the airport, he kisses my forehead "Living alone is gonna kill me" he says.

"You have Samantha" I say. I HATE Samantha. she's my no good, ruthless stepmom who's completely over weight, won't stop eating , and then thinks she'll lose weight by going on a walk every day.

"But I'll miss my only daughter,"

before I can reply I hear

"Flight 405 to Los Angeles Boarding Now!"

"well that's me, bye dad. I love you" I hug him. even though he makes me really mad, I do love him.

"bye sweetie. here, this is 500$ I thought I'd give you a going away gift."

"OMG THANKS DAD" now I hug him really tight.

"your welcome sweetie. visit anytime. I love you"

"I love you too dad" then I head off to board my flight.

I start to cry, but I tell myself, I need this change.
