23. long awaited, Christmas Eve.

•Kay's POV•

After that date two weeks ago, everything has been different. in a good way. Cam apologized, so did i. Matt left me, he said he didn't wanna be my friend if i was dating Cam, so i lost him as a friend. But you learn who your true friends are i guess, right? Cam is comming over at 7 because it's Christmas Eve and my mom wants to spend it with him as well as me. it is currently 4:30 and im still in my Pj's.

•Kay's Mom (Hayley)'s POV•

Kaylyn was so happy with Cameron. i was so happy for her.

•Kay's POV•

Cam was almost here. and I was in my flannel pjs, still.
I went upstairs and put on heels and a slim but flow-y red dress. and i curled my hair.

•Cam's POV•

I couldn't wait to see Kaylyn and Hayley. i drove up, locked the car and walked to the door and knocked. my suit was out of place a little so i shifted it and combed my hair with my hands.

Kaylyn opened the door.
"Woah, you look hoooot" she smirked.

"You look gorgeous babe" i said and kissed her on the cheek.

•Kay's POV•

he kissed me on the cheek and I almost melted.
"come on in," i smiled.
he walked in.

"Hey Cameron! How are you?" mom said.

"Good Mrs.Peterson! How about you?" Cam tried to be polite.

"Great" mom smiled, "Let's eat!"

we ate ham and green beans and mashed potatos. after dinner, we opened presents.

"I got you this babe" i told cam and handed him a box. it was a Micheal Kors black watch that he had wanted. his face lit up.

"I- I- I Could just" he looked at my mom, "kiss you." he turned back to me. I knew what he meant to say though.

Then he kissed me and gave me my present.

which was the Tiffany necklace I had been dreaming about.

"Oh my god Cam," he was so amazing.

"Thank-Thank you so much!" i ran into his arms.

my mom gave him a really nice dress suit and he gave her the Naked 3 palette. (the only one she didn't have) and I told my mom we'd be going upstairs and Cam was staying the night.

she jokingly said, "don't forget the protection!" and laughed.

"mom!" my cheeks were red.

I was glad my mom was cool.

I went upstairs and put back on my pj pants and a sports bra. Cam put on his pj pants and was shirtless. we got in my bed under the covers and watched Elf as i cuddled into his chest.

he kissed my forehead and said, "i. wouldnt want this anyother way, i love you Kaylyn"

everything was normal again.
