"I should've asked the same of you when you altered the timelines." Romania sneered, his hand clamping tighter around the paralyzed Frenchman's mouth and pushing the tip of the wand harder against his temple. Arthur growled, fingers cramping against the wood of his wand.
He'd been caught, and there was no escaping it. All the short blonde had left was a chance at bargaining.

"Don't you hurt him...Release him so we may discuss this as gentleman." The Brit muttered through clenched teeth, nearly snapping his wand in half with the grip. Romania shook his head and snickered lowly, the tip of the wand glowing bright red before the light shot into the Frenchman's temple. Cobalt eyes rolled back into his head and he collapsed limply to the ground, making Arthur's eyes widen with rage.

"I told you not to hurt-!"

"Relax Arthur. I just knocked him out. I know I'm a bit malevolent but I'm not completely evil." The red eyed vampire rolled his eyes and sat at the table, snapping his fingers and pointing at the chair next to him. The Englishman put his wand away and reluctantly trudged across the room, worried eyes gazing upon Francis' form lying on the ground before sitting next to Romania. The vamp leaned back in his chair and folded his arms.

"I don't need to tell you what you did wrong Art, as I'm sure you're smart enough to know already." The Romanian began, touching his fingertips together under his chin.

"Yes, I'm aware. I know exactly what spell I cast." The Brit muttered once again, sliding a bare foot against Francis' warm skin.

"You know that spell has been permanently banned, yes?"

"Yes, I am aware."

"You do realize that the punishment for casting such a spell is a permanent magic revoke, ban from the magic world, and in your case death, yes?"

"Yes I am-Wait, death? I don't remember that in the rules, and I know them by heart!"

Romania shook his brunette head.

"You don't check for updates, now do you?"

Arthur's breath hitched as the vamp snapped his gloved hand, summoning an very new looking Magic Rule book. The Brit gulped silently. The vamp flipped to a page and cleared his throat.

"Spell Rule Number 3: One Shall Not Cast The Timeline Swapping Spell For Any Circumstance. Any Witch, Wizard, Mage, Cleric, Or Like Found Using This Spell Shall Have Either Three Things Occur To The Individual.

Tear I: (To Relive A Memory) : All Magic Revoked Temporarily.
{From A Month To A Year}

Tear II: (To Alter A Timeline To Change Current Events) : Permanent Ban From The Magic World

Tear III: (To Bring An Individual Who Was Meant To Die Back To Life) : Death By Nenazo."

Arthur's heart stopped and sank into his stomach at hearing how one would die. Nenazo is a procedure that causes ones magic essence to be extracted painfully from the body, killing the individual simultaneously. Their magic essence is then placed in labeled vials and locked in an underground vault, only to ever see the light again if the Magic Council announces a war and they need to make weapons out of what they would call 'tainted essence.' The tainted essence is supposedly cursed from the moment its extracted, and those who are weak minded can be coaxed by the essence to drink it. This is extremely painful to drink as it has similar properties to hydrochloric acid. When drunk, the one who drank it melts away and whoever was in the vial lives again. Only the Magic Council can see and use it without being coaxed.

And according to the book Romania held in his hands, Arthur was the next to be put in a vial.

"I...I'm not aware of that...." The Brits throat got thick and the air seemed hard to breath. The Romanian vampire snapped the book away and leaned back in his chair, putting his fingers under his chin again.

"I didn't think you were." Arthur felt his fingers trembling and he balled them into fists to try and still them. He'd watched someone be sentenced to death by Nenazo before and the thought of it happening to him was terrifying.

"Romania, please. I'm begging you, don't tell the Magic Council about this. I made a huge mistake I know but please." Arthur practically begged at the vampire who was looking at him with a thin raised eyebrow. "I know I shouldn't have cast it, but since I have I've been so happy. And it hasn't hurt anyone! Please Romania, I'll owe you a favor!"
Romania sighed.

"Arthur, look at me."
The Brit did so reluctantly. The brunette placed a gloved hand on Arthur's exposed shoulder and squeezed it gently.
"You know I can't help you myself. That would result in me getting the same punishment, and call me selfish but I don't want to die."

"I can't blame you...neither do I."

Romania continued. "But Ill  offer you some advice on how to fix it." The blondes interest peaked and he stared directly at the vamp.
"You might not like it, but it could save your life." The red eyed man cleared his throat again.
"As you know, I'm a timeline jumper. I keep track of all the timelines and make sure the they haven't ruptured. By you jumping a timeline into a reality where Francis here doesn't die forced the timeline where he did to completely rupture and get destroyed. Francis does need a timeline where he dies, we all do. But because of your actions, Francis  no longer has one." The Romanian leaned forwards and spoke lowly.
"Do you know where I'm going with this?"

Arthur said nothing, knowing exactly where the vamp was coming from but didn't want to believe it in the slightest. After working so hard to be happy it was all going to crash down because he was too careless with his actions.

Romania sighed and spoke one more time before disappearing, leaving Arthur utterly speechless.

"I'll give you three days, but in the end....Francis had to die."
