chapter 3: love like a tidal wave

After waking up in Kye's house and leaving so suddenly you felt hungry. When you got home you felt an eerie feeling but shook it off and took a poptart into your room. When you walked in you expected to see your father checking to see if your home  cause you were a few minutes later than usual but he wasn't there. You saw your phone on your desk and open it up. You text your dad's number  "Where are you?" You ask. He replies "I'm so sorry but you will be alone for a few months to a year. I'm getting shipped to Sea and you have school so I decided to keep you there. I left you over 3 thousand dollars that I've saved because of this trip. That'll last you a while and kye's family will be bringing more every month. I love you but I have to go, bye !". You immediately broke down crying and dropped your phone on the solid ground. You were so mad he just up and left without leaving a note or anything. You cried yourself to sleep and right before you fell asleep you said "Fucking asshole ". The only time you spoke was to kye and your other best friend Olivia. Although you still had a crush on him you didn't want to run your friendship with him so you just told Olivia and you both keep it to yourselves. The words kye said to you years ago still replay in your mind "darling your mine!". You don't know why though . You wish he would answer but anytime you bring it up he changes the subject and blushes. You know he couldn't like you. You don't believe your attractive, your very shy, and your the most awkward person ever so how would someone as perfect as him like you? You often reminded yourself of this although Olivia tells you otherwise.

Your walking around the park all by yourself. You felt a tap on your shoulder and see Tyler. You scream kye's name but you are shut up when you feel a sharp pain In your stomach. You looked and saw a blade. Tyler then says "this is for not saving me. Your a failure. You don't even need to live ! Why are you even here!".
///////////Reality returns \\\\\\\\\\\\ You suddenly wake up and see kye cuddling you in his arms.
"Your okay , shhhhhh. I'm right here I promise. He won't hurt you anymore. Shhhhhh". You felt immediately safe and fell asleep in his arms only to not have anymore dreams. You wake up again in Kye's arms and notice he is still asleep. You turn to face him and Poke his nose. You could tell he was faking it but when you were about to get up he smashed his lips into yours. You were suprised but Imediatily kissed back. It felt like everything stopped and you two were the only ones there. You also felt something zap you when your lips touched his. It felt like a "spark" touched your lips. After what seemed like a billion years , you two pulled away and he says "I love you Ophelia ". You pulled him in for another kiss but was interrupted by Olivia's laughter. You whipped your head around to see her recording.  You ran up to her and jumped on her. You ran with her phone and sent it to yourself then deleted it off her phone. She pouts once she caught up to you. You laugh and kye wraps his arms around your waist and kisses you again. It wasn't long but it was enough to make you blush redder than a cherry. "Will you be my girlfriend?" He asks. Olivia nudges your elbow. You reply "only if I can kiss you whenever I want" . He laughs and says "if you can catch me!" And runs to the bathroom . You chase him around the house. You hide and jumped on his back when he ran back. You give him a kiss that lasted for 2 minutes...cause air is a thing sadly. "I accept" you say. You all walk up to your room and talk, laugh, and had a good night. It's safe to say you all fell asleep around 3:37 in the morning. You wake up and went to kiss kye...but he fell on the ground and yells "SHIT". you burst laughing and walk into the kitchen.  You grab about $23 and you all walk to a small restaurant called "Italian delights". When you all take a seat a waitress comes over ... But not just any waitress. She had a very short skirt on with garters. She wore a shirt that was obviously too small since her boobs practically ripped the middle of the shirt and she just looked like a slut you would see on the corner of the dangerous neighborhoods. When she came over she gave the menus to Olivia and kye nicely but when she saw you and him holding hands she threw it over to you. She asked for your drinks and got them for you guys. She slammed your on the table and "accidentally" spilled it all over you ruining your entire outfit. Kye helps you dry up with some napkins and gives you a spare shirt out of his pocket. It was an Attila shirt. You put it on over your shirt you were wearing. You were usually shy but now you were angry . This was the first time you ever saw kye mad at someone other than olivia. "If you could stop trying to be a slut and do your job then I'd really appreciate it." He said to her. The whole restaurant went quiet after that until she replied "trust me I could be way better than her". You all got your stuff and walked out of the restaurant. When you walked past the asshole waitress you stepped on her foot making her fall onto yhe ground and her skirt and shirt ripped. She had underware with Dinosaurs on it and her bra had Oreos on it. It looked like she was a little girl and her face revealed she knew she was fired. She was frozen and we were outside by the time she started to cry. I kiss Kye's cheek and he only smiles. We went to McDonald's instead and went home.
