It was 12 am , and the apartments pool whispered sweet melodies inviting me to relax in the calm water .
As I looked into the somber water it seemed to distort itself into a new animation .
Water colors painted the water into clear and subtle blues , dancing waves rocked by the winds invited me to emerge myself into a Unknown realm .
Suddenly this world vanished and I entered a new one , the cold water was now warm and I let the water colors paint me into a new person .
I had shaped and designed my own world , the water was always there when no one else was . I felt a special comfort at the I bottom of the pool .
Where people and honking cars didn't exist . Where my phone didn't vibrate with assignments due tomorrow .
Where humans don't cry but drown in their sorrows .
This was my reality. And who knew my own reality could be so cruel .
I looked at how my finger tips crinkled in the texture of the water , I sat down in the bottom of the pool , staring at my hands in wonder .
Humans are so weird , how one day you could be perfectly fine but the next you could be diagnosed with cancer .
How one day you could be accepted into the countries best swimming university , and the next swim back into chemotherapy .
Like a candle your dreams can be blown away so easily ,
And so easily your life can be blown away .
