Nala can feel her heart pump out of her chest. She listens to the students talk amongst each other with widen eyes. "I'm gonna catch whoever did it!" A boy stands up from his desk and faces the class. "Everyone, we have to come up with a name for whoever did it." The class becomes silent and a girl stands from her seat. "I got it! How about Dj since he or she was playing music?" Murmurs rise from the classroom in agreement. "Now, now students we need to get back to our lesson. Who can tell me the different symbols from the periodic table?" A second boy stands up. " DJ Trouble maker!" Nala plops her head down on her desk closing her eyes as she tries to calm down. Soon the period is almost over. What are we gonna use science for in life? Why do we need this stuff? Excuse me ma'am did you know that ring of yours used to be underground a million years ago and it is a mineral? Ugh. Nala looks at the clock wearily and grins." Yes! Only 2 minutes left I guess I can draw for a little while." She takes a sheet of paper and begins drawing a minecraft Steve holding a diamond sword. Riiing!

Quickly grabbing her stuff Nala walks towards the door and a hand is placed on her shoulder. What the? "May I speak to you?" Looking at the clock she sighs and sets her pink backpack on the floor. "Make it quick... I'll be late for art class." " I'll write you a pass don't worry." Nala sits on a nearby chair and flashes him a small grin. " You okay this morning?" She stares at the ground and draws in a breath. "yeah.." Mr.Lewis grabs her hand in his and gently lifts her chin up. "If you need anything..I'm here for you." Nala nods her head and gets up from her seat, wrapping her arms around him. "Thanks..I think I'll need that pass." "Haha, oh yeah" He peels a sticky note from his desk and writes Tardy Pass then hands it to her. "See ya later." "Bye" She walks out of the room and heads towards art class. Riiing.
