Y/n POV |

"Wow? You hit her back? That's awesome!" J-Hope said when we finished dinner and went to the backyard to chill, I nodded. "What else did she say to you?" Suga asked. "She said to stay away from you guys, and stay away from Jungkook. She said that Jungkook is hers, so yeah." I said as I looked at Jungkook.

Jungkook came closer to me and wrapped his hands around my shoulder, "I'm not hers. I'm yours." He whispered into my ear, I gave him a slight smile. Taehyung was looking at us for the whole time, it didn't feel comfortable, it's more like staring. I guess he's jealous or something.

Taehyung's POV |

I felt my heart crack when Jungkook does that, I was glancing at them for the whole time. I stood up and head to the door into the house, "Where are you going hyung?" Jungkook asked, "My room." I replied coldly and quickly walked into the house. I don't know what I can do to make her mine, but.. we are just step siblings, I can't do anything about it.

Suddenly, someone knocked on my door, "Come in." I said. The door opened, and it was Jin. "What's up hyung?" I said as I unlock my phone, "Are you okay? You look so down lately, what's bothering you?" Jin always know when someone is sad, and he always understands other people. I stayed silent, looking at my phone screen, the background picture was a picture of me and Y/n, it was taken over the summer break.

"You like her don't you?" I looked up at Jin, shocked at what he just said. "H-How do you..?" "I can see it from your actions Taehyung, you've never treated someone like this." Jin cut me off. Honestly, he knows me too well. Its true I've never treated someone like this, I care to much for her.

"But hyung, she likes Jungkook. And I'm only her brother." I said softly, holding my tears back. "It's okay, you're not blood related, remember?" Jin reminded me, I looked up at him and I smiled a little.

It's been a few months already, after the day you beat Ji Soo up, she didn't dare to come up to you again. Your relationship with Jungkook was getting weaker, you noticed he'll try to avoid you if he could, and you were really sad about it.

Y/n POV |

"I don't understand him, he's just trying to avoid me as much as he possibly can!" I rant to Taehyung, he was just there listening, blanking out. I pretend to talk and admiring his flawless face, "What are you doing Y/n?! You have a boyfriend! Geez!" I though to myself. "Are you listening?" I asked Taehyung, and bought him back to reality "Huh? Oh yeah.. I don't know, I'm not him right?"

He always blank out whenever I rant to him. I stood up and left his room, and went to the living room. I took my phone out and dialed Jungkook's number, "Beep...Beep" No answer. I called again, it's the same. I was so frustrated, and I called Jimin, he answered. 

"Hello?" -Jimin

"Hey do you know where Jungkook is?" -Y/n

"Oh..uh no, why?" -Jimin

"Oh nothing I thought you would know where he is.." -Y/n

"Jungkook Oppa~! I miss you!" -???

I was cut off by a girl from the other side of the phone, Jungkook is with him? Why did he lie?

"Who's that? You said you don't know where Jungkook is?" -Y/n

"... Sor-" -Jimin

 I didn't wait for him to finish his word and I hang up, I didn't realize I had tears stream down my face until few droplets of tears drop on my hand. Why would my childhood best friend lie to me? I quickly wipe my tears when I heard footsteps coming down the stairs, it was Taehyung, obviously.

Taehyung's POV |

I felt bad when I blanked out while Y/n was ranting to me, so I decided to make it up to her, by treating her ramen, her favorite. I slowly walked down the stairs, and I hear light sobs. I quickly ran down, Y/n was sitting on the couch, hugging a pillow. "Hey sis, wanna go get some ramen?" I asked her, she turned around with a smile on her face, as if she didn't cry just now but I knew she did.

"Yay! Let's go!" She said and ran for the door, I followed behind her, she got in the car and waited for me to get in, "Yah! Your so slow, hurry up!" she said, and I got in the car and started to drive to the nearest 7-11. We got out of the car, and I saw Y/n angrily stomping into the store. I quickly followed her.

Y/n POV |

"Seriously? I thought you were different, why are you doing this to me?" I half yelled. "It's not what it looks like? Then what does it looks like? You tell me!" I said pointing to the girl beside him, that was tugging on his arm. "And you? I though you were my best friend? How could you lie to me?" I said glaring at Jimin, Jungkook was just staring at me, didn't know what to say. "So what is it like?" I looked back at Jungkook.

Taehyung ran into the store, "What's happening here? Jungkook? Jimin? What are you guys doing here?" He said while his eyes widens. "Avoiding me at school, avoiding my calls, great Jeon Jungkook, I hate you! Let's go home Taehyung." I said and walked out the store. Taehyung quickly caught up with me, and stayed silent while walking by me.

Jungkook's POV |

I really loved her, but I can't anymore. I have to let her go, she will be more happy with Taehyung. I only found out that Taehyung likes her after 2 months of dating with Y/n, and I felt really bad since Taehyung liked her way before I did. I wanted to let her go earlier, but I couldn't. I love her too much, I wanted to spend a little more time before I let her go, and today it's the day.

I saw how Taehyung glared at me before he left the store, full of anger. I look at Jimin, he patted my back and said "It's okay, you're gonna tell him you did it for him right?" I nodded, but I don't know if I should.
