Chapter 5

2 days. 48 hours. Stiles still hadn't come home. We've been searching for him but he's always one step ahead of us. I'm driving to the lake house to clear my head for a few days and see if I can find him somehow. I pull up and notice the door is wide open. I take the bat from the back seat and walk to the door hands shaking. Why I'm using a bat is strange but it reminds me of Stiles and I am too exhausted to scream. I walk through the door hearing sobbing come from the kitchen.

"Stiles? Is that you?" I say walking to the figure crouched on the floor his top and jeans in tatters and blood dripping from his hands. 

"Stay there. I don't want to hurt you Lydia" He says "please Lydia" Tears well up in my eyes as he lifts his head up showing me his face his eyes are closed but his whole body is trembling. I kneel in front of him. "I can hear her heartbeat" I take a breath and take his hands in mine stopping him from hurting himself anymore. 

"Look at me, Stiles please just look at me" I say letting the tears spill over my cheeks. His eyes slowly open and I am met with the amber iris' he bows his head but I take his chin and lift his head back up towards me he blinks a few times. I lean forward and press my lips to his and he kisses me back slowly. When we pull away his eyes have returned to there normal brown and his claws have gone as has the hair from his cheeks. 

"I'm a monster" He says his voice breaking. I shake my head.

"No you aren't you're a werewolf, a friend, a son, a brother, a boyfriend and soon to be a father" I say taking is face in my hands and kissing him again. He pulls away handing me my phone from the floor. 

"Text him, I need help Lyds, Text him" He says. I nod and type out a message to Scott, Noah and Malia. "You're my anchor, on the night I ran you kept me in control of myself" 

"I'm not leaving okay? Not now, Not ever, We will always love you" I say putting his hand to my stomach

"I love you both too"
