His heart sank. His heart was Baekhyun's but now Baekhyun's dying. Because of him. Because of his love for him.
"I'm so sorry, but he is a candidate for heart transplantation," was the words that ended his heart beat. He burried his face on Baekhyun's bed. His love one laid so still that it broke his heart.

He did not know why but he sang

Then the door opened but he didn't bother to look up. A force pulled him outside of the room and threw him against the wall. It was So Min.
"How could you! How dare you! This is all your fault! He's the only one... the only one I have! And you took him away from me! How dare you?!"
Chanyeol stared at her. How her tears ran down from her cheeks in a rapid motion. How her eyes grew red. He knew this look. It was the look he had earlier that evening. It was a hopeless look.
The others were there too. But they did nothing. Maybe they were angry at Chanyeol and maybe they pitied the girl. All that was happening was killing him inside.
"You're the one that should die not him!"
The So Min gave him a good beating. He felt the pain when So Min slapped his face and kicked his knees. But he didn't care. It was well deserved.
"Why?! Why do you have to do this to me? To us? We only have each other and now this!"
“I’m .. "
“A monster. A selfish monster who happens to be the king of all monsters. And you know what? Monsters are meant to die and so do you!!”
“So Min—“ Sehun tried to stop the commotion.
“No, she’s right,” Chanyeol said and Chanyeol got up and went to find a doctor.
He felt a hand grabbing his arm. It was Sehun.
“What are you planning to do? Please don’t do anything stupid,”
“No, for the first time, I’m about to do something right.”
At that moment Sehun realized what was about to happen. “Chanyeol, Please. Maybe there’s another way—“
“No. There is no other way. This is all my fault. So Min’s right. Monsters are bound to die. If I didn’t—“ He choked the words out. “If I didn’t love him. This wouldn’t happen.”
“All you ever did was love! This isn’t your fault!”
“Yes it is. It was a selfish love.”
“But death is not the answer!”
“Life is a beautiful lie, but death is a painful truth” Chanyeol touched Sehun’s cheek then smiled. He turned to talk to the doctor.
Moments, later, he found himself lied down on the bed. It was about to happen.
He remembered everything he can. Baekhyun's smile, Baekhyun's laugh. He remebered Baekhyun and he said to himself. I will never regret doing this for my heart is yours.
What followed was a slideshow of memories he had with Baekhyun.
