"Is there something you need,ms.jenkins?"I ask,sitting up in bed."get up and make sure you and all the other little brats are ready within 20 minutes,some families are coming today."she says,walking away.I get up and throw on a pair of jeans and a plain black shirt.im not gonna put shoes on cuz its not like any of the families are gonna choose me.they are all the same.they either want a little kid,a baby,or a teen who isn't messed up.its how its always been.i go into the twins room wake them up,i tell them what ms.jenkins told me.they nod and get ready.they are really smart for only being 6.they never get adopted because they refuse to be seperated.i go around and wake everyone up and get them fed.now we wait in the living room for when the families arrive.hopefully these kids get placed in good homes,they are too innocent to deal with the types of families i have come across.
