the alarm clock rings loudly. she hits the alarm lazily with her right hand and goes back to sleep. The alarm rings yet again but this time she jerks her head up to see the time --- 08:53 ---
' oh shit ' she muttered
she climbs out of bed quite reluctantly and fishes for her high school uniform. she finds her uniform and slips them on quickly not caring how she looked, she runs down the stairs three at a time and grabs a bunch of breads. she then reaches for her bag and throwd the door open and runs as fast a she could - at any rate the opening ceremony is about to start.
' oh shit shit shit ' she mutters again as she stops for several cars to pass at the crossing
'oh for goodness sake fck it' she runs toward the car which she just managed to dodge. the car honks and the driver sticks his head out and shouts 'oi look where you're going girl! '
' i don't care ' she replies.
she glances at her watch and sees the time --- 08:57 --- three minutes till the opening ceremony. she quickens her pace as she sees the tall white building of Eunnice High (made up school ahha) come in to view as she turns the corner.
she stops there panting when she sees that she reached the school gates. after a while she reaches her hands out and tries to push the gates open but they were locked.
' fuck i'm screwed-'
'you're not'
she turns round at the voice and sees a boy in the same uniform as hers. The boy is quite tall, he has long arms too. He has brown eyes and his face is really small, he looks really handsome for a typical school boy, his bag is slung over his shoulder in a not-caring-about-school way.
'oh thank goodness you're late aswell? well good because we are screwed as the gates are locked!'
'there's no need to panic. are you a newbie?'
'it's my first day in high school yes, so help me get through so i can attend the opening ceremony. it's about to start come on!'
'oh fine whatever newbie, i'm a second year.' he answered
'I don't give a damn if you're a second year or not, plus don't call me a newbie. anyways how do we get through? why is it locked.'
'it's obviously locked because it's past 8:45 duhh' he replied lazily 'that's what we are supposed to get if we are late but who gives a damn it's easy to pass through anyway.'
'just tell me how already!' i called impatiently
'one solution newbie, one person needs to climb over it'
'over the gate you mean??' i stuttered 'how's that even possible'
'it is possible if i do it newbie, i've done it a lot since i'm always late.'
he places a foot on one of the railings of the gate and hoists himself up. he placs his other foot over the gate and looks back at me 'wait for me' he then jumps down on to the other side.
' ya! don't you leave me alone!!' i shouted at his back as he began to run towards the school. 'i don't trust him one bit'
'i won't newbie' as he smirked and became a dot in view. 'Ya!' she cried hopelessly after him.
'i'm so dead'
she sits herself down in front of the metallic gates and leans against it. 'he'll be dead meat if he doesn't come back with a key in his hands!'
luckily enough he came back in view keeping his promise of not leaving her alone. he has a key in his hands. 'had to sneak into the office for you, you're so lucky that i arrived late as well.' he said, 'you better hurry up you're already 5 minutes late' as he opens the metallic gates with the keys.
she hoists herself up and walks through the gates then she ran at full speed whilst shouting thanks at him without turning back.
she glances at her watch which showed 9:05
today was one hectic morning as the start of her night school day
