Ford x Reader III (LEMON)

It had been a few years since yours and Ford's previous shenanigans but not a single day went by when you thought about them and wished for something more. You wished you could go and see him, however a few months later you and your parents moved houses to New York on the opposite side of the country, due to your father's new job opportunity he received.

You really missed the twins and Gravity Falls, but you missed Ford most of all and even though you hadn't seen him in years, your crush on him never disappeared. This man had completely struck you and you were completely in love with him to the point of obsession. It was crazy.

Sighing, you pulled on your trainers and grabbed your phone off the counter top, placing it into your jacket pocket as you opened the door of your house. You were going to the store to buy some groceries that you needed and then planned to go on a short walk around the local lake to get some fresh air and exercise. Locking the door behind you, you stepped out onto the crisp leaves that had recently fallen from the trees in the fall and walked towards the nearest crossing. Luckily for you the store wasn't too far away and you got there within 10 minutes.

As you walked into the store you grabbed a basket and felt a vibration in your coat pocket and heard that all too familiar ring tone. You dug inside your pocket to pull out your phone and saw an out of state number that you didn't recognize.

"Probably a cold call"  You thought to yourself as you declined it and shoved the device back into your coat. It wasn't unusual to get calls like that at this time of the day and you tended to not pay much attention.

Shrugging it off, you walked towards the vegetable isle to grab some items that you needed and placed them into your basket before walking over to the snack isle. You ended up with a pretty full basket after your adventure down that isle, which wasn't uncommon as you definitely liked to snack.

As you turned around to leave, you were knocked onto the floor by a stranger which caused all your groceries to go flying across the floor. You groaned as your body hit the ground and grimaced as you felt milk soak into your jacket from the broken bottle laying next to you. A hand reached out in front of your face and as you looked up you saw a strikingly handsome young man. You stared up in shock as you slowly took his hand before he yanked you off the floor and left you looking at him bewildered.

"Like what you see?~" he purred as he stroked his thumb over the back of your hand. You instantly blushed and turned away before he grabbed the side of your face with his hand and made you face him.

"You oughta be careful where you're walking darling, you never know who you're gonna run into" he said smirking at you. Carefully you took your hand back and grabbed your basket off the floor with some of the contents still inside.

"Yeah you can say that again"

The young man then bent down beside you and picked up the rest of your items and placed them into your basket before stepping closer to you causing you to step back. You looked up at him too see him staring at you intently making you uncomfortable so you politely smiled before turning around and walking away only for your shoulder to be grabbed by the man. You could feel his breathe on the back of your neck as he chuckled.

"You should answer that phone sweetheart, I have a deal to keep"

Quickly, you turned around in shock only to find no one standing behind you, In fact there was no evidence that anyone was there at all.

"Was that?... no It couldn't have been.."

Confusion swarmed you as you hurried to make your way out to the registers to pay for your items. After that experience you just wanted to go home.
