Sooo... I went and saw it yesterday, and then woke up the next morning, and my mom had found it on our new A box. So I watched it 4 times total, and will watch it when I wake up tommorrow. This contains SPOLIERS! But so do all my other reveiws. So "Beware, BEWARE!"
As for my reveiw, here we go! So, I'm going to do different categories. Character , Animation quality, songs, and extra thoughts. So, the new characters were awesome. My favorite is between Tempest and Songbird Sirnade. I loved all of the characters, including the main 6. Though, the time Twilight lashed out was so unlike her. Also, I loved all the diffrent species, like fish, bird, cat, and hypogriffs. Not to mention the "seaponies". Sho-be-doo, Sho-sho-be-do! Next is Animation quality. I really liked the animation form, because I'm a sucker for anything I can draw easily. It also flows together easily, and looks very smooth. A lot of people said they should have kept it like the show, but I'm glad they changed it. On to the songs. I don't know if this is biased, but my favorite song is Open up Your Eyes, with We Got This Together right behind it. All the songs are good, and I had all the ones on the soundtrack memorized before I saw the movie. They all also seem to be very catchy, and I would like to learn one on the violin. (Off to see the world is a favorite too) My extra thoughts would be, why doesn't this have a better rating on rotten tomatos, and when's the sequel? Until next time, bye!
