In the beggining the world of Encantadia was only darkness until Keros , Emre , Haliya , Ether , and Arde discovered the empty world. The five are all gods , they are the one who are responsible for creating the encantadia. Keros and Haliya decided to left Encantadia after it was created Emre , Ether and Arde decided to stay.
The encantados more acknowledge Emre than the other two gods. That's why Ether and Arde became so jealous to Emre and because of jealousy they have planed a rebellion againts Emre.
They have tried to kill Emre but Emre was able to stop them as a punishment Emre cursed both of them. Ether became a serpent while Arde became a dragon that will guard Balaak.
