Prologue:
I'm Nikita Marie Williams and, i've been having nightmares for as long as I can remember. The reason being I watched my parents die as they tried to save my brothers, sisters, and me. I don't know why they were killed or even the reason for their death, but I have a feeling it was all about me.
I do know that when my parents died my siblings were running with me in their arms and crying for our loss, but they never stopped running even when they heard our parents scream as they died. And we have been running ever since from who I don't know it's still a mystery to me today.
I know one day I'll have to go home and face what ever is there. So I can get rid of my fears and return to the one place that is the source of my nightmares the place I never want to see again. Yet I know it will be the only way to find the answers to my past that I so desperately need.
Soon I'll be 16 and I'll shift for the first time I'm excited for that, but I have this sinking feeling that it will take a turn for the worse if I go home. I just hope I'm wrong.
