jeno's been talking with chaebin a lot, and he eventually told her how he feels. she urges him to say something but he's still too afraid.
the fact that he seems so close with another girl, prettier and nicer at that, just makes seomyeon even more insecure about asking him out.

she wishes she could be like her.
she's nice, skinny, and she doesn't treat others like they're inferior to her.
a literal saint in this day and age.
everytime jeno cuts seomyeon off cause he recieved a text from her.
everytime he runs up to her in the middle of their conversation.
how he laughs when he's with her.
how well they match up as a couple.

it just makes things worse.
she thought someone genuinely enjoyed her presence and only hers.
but it was too good to be true.

it made her smile from ear to ear, seeing as she was the first one he came to.

he's a shy boy, and she's almost taller than him, but she grew such a grand liking to him so quickly.
it was odd.
but at least she wouldn't be the third wheel at lunch anymore.

except, jeno and seomyeon grew further apart, no matter how close they sat in the small cafe beside chaebin's house, or how many bites of lunch they'd feed eachother.
this wall was separating them.
