Adriana's POV

"Umm? Ma'am?"

The same voice said those words and I went back to reality from being zoned out.

"Oh sorry"

He laughed a little "it's okay. What can I get you?"

"A venti mocha frap"

"Okay that'll be $4.95"

I gave him the money and looked at him one more time then walked to the other side.

He was beautiful, wow.

His eyes were a normal hazel, but if you look at them long enough, you get lost in them. And his raspy voice. And his light brown hair.

He seemed to good to be real.

"Venti mocha frap!"

I shot up and went to get my drink, when I got it I noticed writing.

"For the cutie" with a winky face on it. I looked up and the cute cashier looked at me and gave me a wink,

Was this real?

I just smiled and left.

About 15 minutes later I reached the mall. It was huge, all the stores were name brand.

I started at urban outfitters, I got a few shorts and shirts there along with a casual summer dress. Then went to pac sun, and a few more stores.

I finally ended my shopping around 2pm. It was pretty successful!

When I was pulling into my driveway I saw someone playing basketball in their driveway next to mine. I guess that's my neighbor. But when I got even closer in and he turned around, I lost it.

It's the cute cashier from Starbucks.

I stopped looking before he noticed and got out of my car, but before I could step onto the ground, he came up to me.

"Hey" he smiled.

I just replied with a shy "hi" and started walking to my porch.

"Wait" he said while grabbing my arm.

But as soon as I looked at him he pulled away and looked down.

Was he nervous? Around me?

"Yes?" I asked.

"I'm cameron, the one next door."

"I can see that" I said sarcastically.

"Sarcastic huh? I like it. Well I saw you at Starbucks obviously, but I never got your name?"

I smirked and said "well, according to you, I'm 'cutie' "

He chuckled, "well. Yes you are, but what's your real name?"

"I'm Adriana. Nice to meet you, Cameron"

"Nice to meet you too, are you new to the area?"

My smile faded.

"What's wrong? Did I say something?"

He asked sounding sympathetic.

"No it's just, I'm really new here. I just came here from New York cause my dad got a job here"

"Oh I see, well if you ever want to get to know the area, let me know"

I smiled. "Okay, will do cameron. I gotta go, bye!"

"Bye" he smiled.

-----------------

As I walked inside my house to my kitchen, I saw a note.

"Me and your dad will be out for the day and possibly night, love you, there's money on the counter"

I looked up and saw a $20 bill.

"Well, i guess I'm alone tonight"

----------------few hours later-----

I just went up to my room and started unloading more boxes and getting everything organized.

I found a photo album of me and Kylie, and all my other friends. I missed them all so much, I started tearing up but stopped when I heard a thump from outside my balcony. I heard another one, and it scared me shitless.

I went to my balcony and peeked out the window.

"What the hell?"
