"Ember, get up it'a time to go school" my auntie yells from the kitchen.

"I'm up , I'm up", I yell back because if I don't respond she just keeps yelling. I check my phone while still laying in bed. While checking my instagram like it's the morning paper , a certain picture catches my attention. My ex boyfriend hugged up with another female. We only been broke up a week and he's already moved on. "Niggas ain't shit" I think to myself. With a roll of my eyes , I locked my phone and climb outta bed. Before decided what to wear , I decided to roll me a nice lil morning blunt. As I finish rolling up I open the bedroom window and close my door. My aunt doesn't mind me smoking in the house but I still open the window outta respect. I sit bacc in the bed inhaling the smoke and thinking about my ex. It's sad that only decent thing he ever did was interlude me to weed. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed our few months but I knew he wasn't shit from the get go. I decided to put my blunt out cause I just felt like my auntie was finna call my name again.

Standing in front my closet in my Batman pjs I try and figure out what to wear today. It's kinda hard when ya high but I decide to keep it simple with a pair of black tights and my favorite black and purple hoodie . I decide to complete the outfit with my Nike slides along with a pair of black n purple socks. I'm so glad our school doesn't give a shit about dress code. Looking in the mirror I see a pretty 5'3 with big a curly fro. I got a nice shaped body , you could call it hourglass shape. I got nice boobs and fat ass , I just got a lil chubby tummy but hey it's just a lil more to love on. The one thing I'm most proud of is my eyes, there the prettiest grey eyes I ever seen.

I make my way downstairs , where I see my auntie making breakfast . I live with my auntie you see , my mother gave me to her the minute I born . Apparently she didn't want to deal with a child , I never seen her or spoke to her. My auntie really doesn't talk about her , she doesn't even have any pictures of her.

"Good morning my beautiful child. I was just finna call ya name but I see why you taking so long" my tete says referring to my eyes which where red as hell. She clearly in a good mood today.

"Good morning my beautiful auntie and it was just a lil sum to get my day going" I replied back in the same happy tone.

My auntie is a beautiful black woman. She is about 5'8 , with beautiful brown hair hanging down her back. She has a smile that could make the meanest man smile back at her. She looks like she's still 18 but sadly my tete is knocking on 40. I'm thankful for my tete though, she been here since day one. She's always the one to wipe my tears and tell me everything gonna be alright.

"What are you making us breakfast tete" I asked her as I watched taking food out the fridge.

"I was thinking pancakes with bacon and nice fruit salad." She said never turning around.

"That's sound so good honey" her husband said sneaking up behind her.

My auntie and her husband have been married for 20 years or sum like that , hell I forget. Marcelle is the same age as my tete , he's a retired football player. Him and my tete treat me like I'm there own child , probably due to the fact that they never had any of their own. He's like the father I never had. He taught to ride a bike, how to swim , and how to fight. He the best uncle anybody to ever have.

I roll my eyes as they start that mushy shit . Kissing and touching all on each other. They still in the honey moon stage of there marriage. I just hope one day I can happy and in love like them one day.

"Errrummmm some of us are hungry" I say to interrupt their little love fest.

"Stooooppp cell, I have to find our baby before she gets cranky" my auntie says as she pushes my uncle off of her .
