Growing up I always remember going to grandma and poppas house they may not have been blood but they were family and that's what mattered
I always remember grandma knitted or quilted goods and poppas wooden trucks and buildings
I remember all the ribbons from prizes they won in the fairs and how much I loved my wooden doll house poppa built or the quilted wall hanging grandma made me or the knitted poncho and all the knitted baby clothes I still have she made for me
When poppa passed I remember how hard it was on all of us especially grandma but at least now grandma and poppa are back together wood working and knitting and quilting in paradise sure it's hard but even tho they are gone at least we have our memories that never leave or change and they will always be with us in spirit and in our hearts I love and I'll miss you grandma thank you for the wonderful memories all the laughs and smiles we all shared
