Setting Up Camp

*Vlad and Sam wake up after fainting*

Vlad: Sam, it's true, I'm sorry. Did you feel anything without telling me?

Sam: I can't remember. I only remember hearing someone laughing, but it was faint. Before the monster attacked me, it piled snow all over me, *sneezes* and it could've possibly placed those spikes on my face. *sneezes* My powers were triggered at one point, but it was probably when I got knocked out.

Vlad: I see, so your powers, they get triggered when Tasha and Jason are near?

Sam: Correct. Years ago, I got extremely damaged by it. Knowing Tasha and Jason are alive makes it worse. *falls to her knees* Ouch! See what I mean?

*Vlad nods his head*

Travis: Guys look, for Sam, let's have Vlad and Garroth look around a bit. We'll set up camp. Aphmau, Kawaii~Chan, and Elizabeth, would you guys mind making some dinner?

Aphmau: Sure! No problem, we'll get started in a second, Katelyn, can you make us a fire?

Katelyn: Yup, and that leaves Laurence, Travis, and Zane gathering wood.

Zane: Sure thing. Come on guys, let's leave Garroth and Vlad to Sam.

Laurence: Vlad, Garroth, please take good care of her. Good luck, babe.

Sam: Thank you, Laurence. *gives Laurence a quick hug*

Vlad: We will, Laurence. Please be back before dark.

*everyone splits up in order to set up camp*

{Sam's Examination}

Garroth: Sam, ready to start?

Sam: I guess so. *sneezes*

Vlad: Bless you. All we're doing is giving you a check-up and a quick examination.

*Sam nods her head*

*both of them put on latex gloves*

Vlad: I'm just going to feel around your face.

Garroth: And I'm gonna be jotting notes. 

*Sam nods again*

Vlad: Tell me if you feel uncomfortable pressure anywhere.

*Vlad presses lightly around Sam's head and face, working his way down to her neck*

Vlad: Anything there?

Sam: Yes, around my eyes, my nose, and my neck are tender.

Vlad: *pushes on those spots* Right here?

*Sam nods her head*

Vlad: Most likely that's where you hide your stress. *pushes again* Yeah. Very tight. Since I'm still at your head and face, I'm going to check your eyes, ears, nose, and mouth with a tongue depressor and this light.

*Vlad uses the light to check her eyes, ears, and nose*

*Garroth writes some notes*

Vlad: Looks normal. Okay, Sam, I'm going to check your throat now.

Sam: Okay then.

Vlad: Can you stick out your tongue and say 'eeeeehhhhh' for me?

*gets tongue depressor and light ready*

Sam: Eeeeehhhhh. *opens mouth and sticks out tongue*

*Vlad gently lays the tongue depressor on her tongue and looks around with the light*
