He walked over to me while I sat on the edge of the large cliff, that overlooked the city below. Zander.. I don’t know anymore. I can trust him though. I can “feel” It. I've been like that since I was little. Befor I knew I was an Angel. He held something in his hand. And then he sat down next to me and looked at me. The golder strand of hair came and went. Swiftly disappearing when my temper cooled. I’m going to disappear into the city soon. The President was killed by a “group of friends” according to Zander. He is dead. I am alive. The city is in shambles. He looked at me.. Zander.

“Open your palm” He whispered.

I did as he wished. I then felt the rough texture of leather. Then the cool sensation of metal. I looked at it, and there sat a large L on thin leather. How he found this I don’t know. Names are becoming more unique. 20 years ago, the most unusual name there was would be Christopher Lee. Two names, rarely used, put together. And then there is the creatures. They only roam the city late at night. The Killers. Not human though. Zombie like, but smart. And packed with weapons. Joy. My thoughts have roamed away. They always do when I want to be alone.

“Luna I-”

“Save It.” I cut Zander off rudely.

“I just wanted you to remember me.”

How did he know I was leaving?

“Why do you think I am leaving?”

“I can see it. The pain in your eyes.”

That’s when he slides his hand around my waist and pulls me closer to him. I don’t hesitate to lean my head on his shoulder, we have spent many days in this position. It’s comforting, especially on days when I have had my episodes.

“I...I…I love you Luna Marie.” Zander studders.

Silence.

“I love you too Alexander James.” I whisper, only so he could hear me.

He kisses the top of my head.

“You missed.” I complain.

“I missed?” He says, confused.

“YOU MISSED!” I shout as if it’s obvious.

“I-” He says but I stop his sentence with a kiss directly on his lips.

And then he pushed me back some. I stood on my toes to stay on the cliff. And then he backed away. I Just looked at him. Expressionless. I was not going to be confused, or sad. Just… Nothing.

“Im sorry. I-I-, He studdard.

I just kept looking at him, like I was staring off into space.

“You looked different!” He added

I scoffed.

“Like many of your other girlfriends?” I growled.

He looked at me, pain in his eyes.

“Luna…” he bagan.

“So I’m right,” I muttered.

Im Leaving. Going to the city. And the first step, is to disappear. At Least from the woods.

When I get up to leave, Zander doesn’t move. He doesn’t chase after me like I had hoped he would. I stand there at the edge of the rock formation and onto the cold, prickly grass that stabs my feet as I walk on it like razors. I wait a few seconds, and when I don’t hear the sound of feet shuffleing behind me, I inhale and make my way back to where I had begun to build the small makeshift home I had planned on making. Crying tears of blood.

Then I forced the tears back to where they came. Why am I crying. Yeah, no. I have officially quit crying. Forever. I walked over to the area of the feild, and turned abruptly. I had hid a backpack filled with clothes, some combat boots, all the money Zander “stole”, food, and water. I can get an apartment with that money, and I could steal for a living, or get in touch with a witch or warlock. I was good friends with a warlock as a child, hopefully I can find him again. It’s been so long.

As soon as I venture off into the woods, I can feel the rush of calmness. My demonic and angelic features disappear, except for one. My golden hair. It partially disappears, except for the tips. What is Tara doing now? Is that s good sign or a bad sign? Whatever it is, I haven’t noticed it before. I continue on my stroll until I reach the place where I will stay for the next few weeks. I hope Zander doesn’t miss his money…

And then I see it. A small camera. Hidden in a tree. I sprinted up to it and saw the initials “A.W.”

“Alexander Willow” I whispered to myself.

How dare he! He has been spying on me! That little demon. He spied on me. I turned and slid into the safety of the trees and sprinted all the way down the large hill until I saw the bring flashing lights from the city. This is my home now.
