The Bold Move

MAN : MAKING THE BOLD MOVE IN OUR HOMES

              As we often hear or say ourselves, the society in which we live today is filled with bad and negative charcters, we all blame the government, schools, religion, tribes, every other person but ourselves. Our righteous side makes us victims to wrongs done by others. we never sit to consider how our acts have in a way or two affect the society negatively. The culture we imported has led to change in the balance that has kept the society before us.
              So many calls to bring freedom of expression to ALL,no matter what they claim to want to do or how they choose to act. If in the process of expressing your freedom, you bring war and disharmony, can we say you truly deserved the act of such an expression?......we forget the importance of the laws that keep us sane and organised. The law that protects the young, the old, the strong, the weak, the rich and the poor. We give our children what we call freedom, but if you really think deep, have we offered them FREEDOM or have we simply INDULGED them. There is  big diffrence.
             We all grew up with either little or excess but some virtues were instill-ed in us. We were taught to respect elders, embrace correction, hardwork and most importantly we knew the consequences of our actions. we were either corrected by speeches or by the cane, but never did we not know the reason why we were punished.
Let your child be free to express themselves, let them be BOLD,  let them know they are secured, let love be a theme while they grow. But do not indulge them, know excesses, they think, guide them to make right choices, don't let them be untouchables, don't be afraid to tell them NO, if it didnt kill you while growing, it won't kill them if they are told. Let them imbibe the culture of treating others right, let them know voilence, hatred and selfishness has no part in the society. But for you to set them straight, you also have to lead by example. If your child was asked to describe you on national TV, will you be proud of what they have to say. Remember these kids are smart and they notice and would take advantage of your lack of boldness. Be that man that raises kids that would build and change our nation. With your wife by your side, keep your home happy and contribute to building the nation we desire. Now this is the change that we need.
