Kano's Jealously and Katsumi's Sad and Lonely Heart

KANO'S POV

We got to the demon world and we were definitely far away from Takeo and his men. Remi, Yui and I were panting in exhaustion and Remi spoke up.

"D-Did we *Pant, pant* did we lose them?"

"I...I think so, phew."

I said as Remi and I sat down with our backs touching each other.

"I haven't run like that in a long time."

Yui nodded her head in agreement and she said to me.

"I know how you feel."

"Tch, that's the thing about you humans, you get tired too easily."

I glared at Ayato for saying that to me and I shouted at him.

"Not all humans! you arrogant Moran!!"

Just then, we saw Louisa and she flew towards us. She sighed in relief and she said to us.

"I was able to buy us more time, anyway, we better get going before Takeo catches up.

"I agree and you've got some explaining to do as well, Katsumi."

Reiji said as he looked at Katsumi who looked exhausted as she sat on the ground with her back resting against a tree. Kanato knelt down to her and asked her.

"Katsumi-chan, are you all right?"

Katsumi smiled at Kanato and she patted his head.

"I'll be fine...I just get a little tired every now and then...I just need another few minutes."

"We don't have a few minutes, we gotta speed up."

Yuma said as he knelt down with his back towards Katsumi and she got the message. Katsumi carefully and weakly got up from the ground and she got onto Yuma's back. Yuma stood up and Katsumi smiled at him.

"Thanks, Yuma..."

"You're welcome."

Yuma smiled but, I knew it was a sad smile. I watched as the brothers leave and I stared at Katsumi's back. Yui noticed my look and she asked me.

"Are you all right, Kano-chan?"

I snapped out of my thoughts and I faked smiled at Yui and I said to her.

"I'm fine thanks, Yui, come on."

I said as I walked ahead of the girls. I looked at the brothers and Katsumi and I thought to myself.

'What's the matter with me? why does my heart hurt so much when I see Katsumi with the others?'

YUI'S POV

As we headed to Karl's castle, I noticed that Kano was acting a bit oddly and then Louisa spoke up.

"You've noticed Kano's behaviour as huh?"

"Yeah, what do you think is wrong with her?"

"I think I do, looks a green-eyed monster has appeared."

Louisa said with a smirk making me and Remi look at Louisa surprised. Remi then said to her.

"You're kidding me, right? Kano is jealous of Katsumi, her own ancestor?"

Louisa then looked at Kano and she then said to us.

"Well think about it, Katsumi has been brought back to life and now the brothers are focusing their attention on her and now Kano feels jealous, I mean before Katsumi was brought back to life, Kano did have a good relationship with them and now look."
