*Alec's P.O.V*

Sometimes liking a girl hurts. You really want to like them, but they go off confusing and frustrating you. However, sometimes it's a different kind of frustration... Maddie is a woman, a very intelligent one at that. She's beautiful and I mean that.

People looked past her good looks in middle school. They only payed attention to how she potrayed herself, baggie clothes, a book at hand and large nerdy glases to top it all off. I loved her amazing personality and her natural beauty, and in the end I was rewarded for it. I have a beautiful, bodacious, intelligent woman who I love and who loves me... most of the time.

Earlier that day

*Alec's P.O.V.*

Maddie stayed over at my apartment last night. She had a good time reading. I, however, was bored out of my mind. She was laying on top of me as always, back on my stomach (you mean toned abbs? *BBBRRRRDDD*). We were on the coach, and I was attempting to re-live my childhood by watching Rick and Morty, but childhood became a lot less... entertaining.

Eventually I turned off the TV and desided to play with Maddie's hair while humming a song (Probably Telescope). Maddie shifted upwards while reading what I assume to be a really good part of her book. "I swear Alec if you don't shut up right now." Teasingly I stared singing the lyrics. Maddie immediately got up, walked into my room and shut the door. God why am I so dumb? I asked myself.

The loss of her warmth caused me to suddenly feel... alone. Why does she like her book more than me? Did she really have to storm out like that? Doubts and worries flooded my mind. 'I'm just over reacting,' I told myself.

*Maddie's P.O.V.*

I've been getting really annoyed with Alec lately. I'm not sure why, but he's really making me want to claw my eyes out. All the sudden, I began to find his laugh annoying, his jokes dumb and his teasing unbearable! I was reading on Alecs bed when suddenly I got a text from Vida.

V: Hey Mamasita. Down for a girls only trip? I'm about to order tickets to fly to main land, California. We can go to universal studios! Lol anyway let me know.

I don't think I've ever been so greatful for a... human. Time away from Alec and the island? I'm so down for that.

*Alec's P.O.V*

While waiting for Maddie, I did nothing but stare at the ceiling and think, 'Has she stopped loving me? But she confessed' 'are we not going to get married on a private boat ride like I've always dreamed?' (Lol jk jk).

My thoughts were disturbed by a sudden clicking sound 'Maddie'. She came down the hall with a content look on her face. 'Oh we're fine,' I though,'Everything is going to be alright,' I though. Well I th ought wrong! "I'm leavimg for a while" she said looking everywhere, but my eyes. 'We are NOT alright. Everything is ruined!'

Cliff hagger nxt chapter is gonna be a vacation special. Go Maddie being an independent woman, but don't worry too much. Malec will return.
