The New Regalia ( yukine x Reader)

The New Regalia

( I'm only very good at 1st person, so all of the story will be from someone's point of view or known as pov. this is only a little bit after yato finds yukine wondering soul.)

(yato's pov) 

I couldn't sleep, mainly because yukine couldn't sleep. we were both awake, silent. 

" ok yukine, if you have something to say at least say it don't just think it." I said angrily. 

" Ok fine, these living conditions are unbearable. your unbearable." he almost screamed.

" when we get enough jobs done we can buy somewhere to live" i told him. 

" but that will be after years, i'm taking a walk" he told me angrily as he ran off. 

I could already tell he felt anger before i confronted him, I minaswell take a walk to, why not. I was walking down a alley when i could tell there was something here. 

" sekki" i yelled, but no sword came to my hand, " teenagers" I sighed. 

" geehibol" something creepily said. I jumped onto the roof and started running, if I don't i'm going to have a purple arm again, and that will affect yukine. When i saw something peculiar near a light post. It was a wandering soul,  I could make it a regalia and not die. I got closer to it with the monster close behind. It was a young soul, not that young maybe a teen. it was female and it reminded me of a wolf. 

" I grant you two names" i started. " yori and okami". ( okami means wolf). I haven't done this very much but it feels normal. I drew out the name, Then it started shining, i was expecting a sword a gun maybe but it turned into a live animal, it was a giant snow wolf. she seemed like she already knew what was going on and she killed the monster rather quickly.

"master" she said running up to me on all fours. I told her to turn to human form. she had long white hair, simple robes on, but something was peculiar. she had white wolf ears on the top of her head, she still had normal ears but that was peculiar. 

" my name is yato, the god of war, and now your my regalia" i said holding out my hand meant for a handshake. she shook my hand. 

" A god, you remind me of a cat" she said chuckling a little. 

" i'm no cat" i said crossing my arms. 

" do you have a shrine" she asked. 

I suddenly got sad. " no, not yet" 

" ok then" she said with a smile, she seemed to lift my spirit.

( yori pov)

All i could remember is being dead and being a wandering soul, when a god a war named yato made me his regalia. 

" do you have a shrine" i asked. 

he seemed to get really sad, " no, not yet" 

" ok then" i said with a smile, i was trying to lift his spirits. " do you have any other regalia" i asked curiously.

" yes, his name is yukine" 

" can i meet him" i asked. 

" actually we had a fight, he's blowing off steam." he said rubbing the back of his head.  

" what were you fighting about" i asked. 

" living condit.." he started when his phone started blaring. he answered, " how can i help you, we deliver fast and for a low price, yep, ok, five yen, yep." he hung up. " we got a job, come on" he said grabbing my arm and pulling me down the street. " were supposed to fix a leaky faucet."

" ok" 

we didn't just stop there, after fixing the faucet we cleaned the entire bathroom of mold.  

" I might become a permanent customer" the customer told us, yato's eyes lit up. when we walked back outside yato started shivering, but i seemed fine. there was snow on the ground, but I could never remember being cold.

" something wrong" i asked. 

" it's freezing out here how are you not cold" he said shivering. I checked his temperature, he was freezing. " how are you so warm" he asked still shivering. 

" regalia thing" i asked. 

" no yukine gets cold" he said rubbing his hands together. 

" speaking of him he has to be freezing by n.." i started. " trouble" I said turning my head. then their was a scream and yeto's arm started turning purple. 

"okami" he yelled. I turned into a giant wolf. He started running towards A alley I followed him. their was a monster on top of a boy, the boy also had a purple arm. " get it" yato yelled. 

I tackled it and pinned it to the ground. I ripped it's throat out, or at least where i think it throat would be. It disappeared.

" damn demons" i muttered. 

" you ok" yato asked dropping to the ground to help the boy, he was about my age. redish orangish hair, a blue hat. he also had orange eyes. He was kind of c.." not the time yori" yato said sternly. 

"right" I said running over. 

" get back, it spreads" yato told me hastily, I jumped back.

" it their a way to get rid of it" I asked. 

" water would do it." 

" i smell salt water, a lake maybe not too far from here." 

" who's that" the boy asked. 

" i'm yori" I said trying to smile, i could have looked super scary smiling. I am still in wolf form. " are you yukine" i asked curiously.

" ya, are you a new regalia" he asked me. 

" yep" I replied. we made our way to a lake, I turned back into a human instead of a giant white wolf. They cleaned off their arms, and it disappeared rather quickly. if he's yukine that means they were fighting. I sat between them. " no more fighting you two."

" fighting" yato asked. 

" you told me that you and your other regalia were fighting, so no more fighting." I said smiling. 

" why do you have dog ears" yukine asked looking at the top of my head. 

" I have what" I asked feeling the top of my head, and at the top of my head there were fuzzy little ears. " don't know"

" yukine get those dirty thoughts out of my head" yato said angrily.

" do we share a mind or something" i asked. 

" you're my regalia, your thoughts are mine as well" yato explained. 

" oh so that's why you said not the time." i said thinking back to earlier. I looked around and saw little of pieced of wood everywhere. I just got a idea, what if i build a small shrine for yato. he seemed so sad that he didn't have one earlier.  

" that's a great idea" yato yelled hugging me.

" your freezing yato" I said. he let go then seemed to remember he was cold. I checked yukine's forehead. he was freezing. " how are you guys so cold" I said.

" more like how are you a heater" yato asked.

I crossed my arms, " i'm no heater, you guys are just airconditioners."

" hey guys" a girl with a tail from behind asked. " who's the girl"
