When he was pretty close to me he knelt down and reached his arm out to me, he sat me up straight, my back resting on the hard concrete wall and then proceeded to stand back up again. He towered over me and staring down into my eyes, I brought my knees up to my chest and put my bound hands around them, we stared at each other in silence for a few more seconds before I picked up the courage to speak.
"W-why am I here" I spoke so softly I was surprised he could even hear me at all.
"You will find out sooner or later" he said in response his voice booming throughout the room. With that he started to leave only stopping at the door to turn around and say "see you later sweetie" he plastered a huge fake grin onto his face then again turned to leave the room locking the door after him with a click.
The room filled with darkness once more and I was left to sit in silence, the only sound audible was my quite sobs every few seconds which I knew only I could hear. I realised there was no point screening out for help because I knew only I could only hear the cries of pain. I sat in a ball up against the wall to try and make myself as small as possible until I slipped into a peaceful, dreamless slumber.
