I walked out of Science late and tugged my bag onto my shoulder. I sighed realizing I had to go home to Harry. Remi and Roxy had running try outs so I couldn't get a ride home with them. Who knows who will pick me up! Fingers crossed it isn't Harry. I opened the big doors and saw no van, I have to wait. Just as I sat on the bench out front someone came up behind me. They covered my eyes.
"Guess who!" Said a farmiliar voice.
"Matt!" I laughed.
Matthew was a boy one year above me. I met him in English. He was tall, tan with blondey-brown hair. He was very attractive and had the complete surfer look. He was from Australia.
"Hey Mia!" He grinned, sitting next to me.
"I thought you were trying out for baseball!" I said with a smirk.
Matt made me feelo better. It was like there was a hole in my heart and every time Matt smiled or laughed it was gone.
"I already did, it was during Science." He stated.
I grinned skeptically.
"Yes I got in!" He announced.
I jumped up and hugged him.
"Congrats!" I exclaimed.
Just then the orange van beeped. Crap! At the worst moment. I quickly pulled away from Matt and grabbed my bag.
"I have to go!" I said waving.
"Wait Mia!" Are you busy Friday?" He asked.
My stomach lurched.
"I'd love to hang out then, text me!" I called.
He grinned and waved.
"Bye!" He called.
I smiled hastily and jumped in the car. It was Liam, not Louis or Harry. My cheeks were burnign and my head spinning. I saw Liam fighting a smile. After a minute or so I couldn't take it.
"Tell me! Did you hear or see any of that!?" I demanded.
He let out a laugh.
"Yes. I saw the hug and heard the date." He said.
I let out a deep breath.
"Don't tell anyone." I said.
He nodded.
"Promise. Mia, are you sure you're ready?" He asked.
"Why wouldn't I be?" I quizzed.
"Most guys want to kiss on the first date, you know, make it official." He stated.
"You think I wouldn't want to kiss him! Of course I would! He is very attractive!" I exclaimed.
"Not as attractive as Harry, and the kiss will not at all feel the same-"
"Shut up! I'm sorry Liam but please shut up! You know the way I feel about Harry! I want to move on!" I shouted.
He seemed startled.
"Sorry." He muttered.
"It's fine."
We pulled into the driveway and stepped out into the light rain. I ran over to the door and walked in. I was crushed into a hug. My heart raced as to see who and how many people were in the hug. When they finally pulled back I saw Louis, Zayn and Niall. Harry stood back awkwardly at the bottom of the stairs. My face fell as soon as I saw him and tears welled up in my eyes. This was the first time I had been in the same room as him. I pushed through the boys, forcing a smile, and ran up the stairs. Once again, I crawled onto my bed and cried my eyes out. This sucks!
~Harry's P.O.V~
I felt my heart sink as Mia pushed passed with tears. Kissing Miranda was the dumbest thing I've ever done! I can't believe I threw away my relationship with Mia for that skanky cow! Mia was the best thing I've ever had and I blew it by getting drunk and kissing a cow! I hate myself, I hate everything I am.
"Harry listen!" Liam demanded.
I hadn't noticed, but we were now in the kitchen sitting at the breakfast bench. Liam was going to tell us something. He shot me a concerned gloance before starting.
"I really shouldn't tell you, and you have to promise not to say anything to Mia!" He exclaimed.
"Promise!" We said in unison.
"She has a date." He spat so fast.
It felt like a monster grew inside of me. Huge and firey, it spat and hissed at the news. My heads got hot and it felt like my heart literaly shattered. I want to hurt someone, something. I want the world to feel pain, or better I wanted this boy to feel pain. I want to scream.
"I heard his name, Matt. She hugged him and laughed with him. It was like she was normal. He seems really nice though." Liam said.
My nails dug into my palms. I need vengance.
"Harry?" Niall asked.
"What!?" I growled.
"You can't say anything, okay?" He asked.
"I won't." I muttered.
