There's nothing worse than loosing who you thought was your best friend, they wake up one morning somehow different. They hurt you, break your promises, and forget all the memories. It's truly sad. That was happening in Mary's life and she could do nothing about it, Mary was loosing her mother to him everything in Mary's life was changing.
It all started when Mary's mother got married to a man who Mary thought was the boogie man in her closet, who was the criminal in the investigation shows,he was the monster under her bed. Mary feared J.t. like nothing she's ever feared before. Everyone disliked him because of his shady looks, because of all his tattoos and because of his past and because of his anger, but no one hated him more than Mary.
"Mom I'm going to school." Mary said in a loud voice so Mary's mother could hear her in her mother and stepfathers room which smelt like marijuana all the time. Mary and her younger sibling walked to their small village school where Joey could go play with his friends on the playground but Mary couldn't she had no one to play with for everyone made fun of her oversized eyes and wider nose. The kids reached the school and everyone separated Mary into grade two, Joey into kindergarten and Angelina and Toni stayed home because they were to little to even start preschool.
Eventually school ended, Mary and Joey had to go back to hell with the rest of the family. As soon as Mary and Joey got home they saw their mother on the chair crying with a red mark across her face while Angelina was in her room crying in fear and Toni cried louder then them all, only she was a poor innocent infant. Mary went and got Toni and Angelina while Joey got his mother. J.t. was quiet for the whole night for he was frustrated, so were all of the kids, except for Mary she asked Angelina what her father had done, her small little mouth didn't even move to take a breath so Mary went and ask her mother only because she was on the couch, if she were in her room Mary would fear to even turn on the tap for J.t. would be mad and smack Mary as well, but harder. Her mother never answered she just sighed a long slow sigh and told Mary to have a good nights wrest.
Weeks went past and everything was the same, J.t. having his ways or else, Mary and Joe going to school and Mary not sleeping. Mary was frightened that someone would get more hurt than they already have, Mary thought that if she would phone her father he would kill J.t. so Mary never said a word not even to her grandparents. While Mary was in her bed one night she saw her stepfather come into her room and take her outside with all of the other kids, this was weird to Mary he had never even bothered to go into Mary's room. Mary had no clue what was happening to her siblings. J.t. had a knife against their mothers throat mushing harder each time we spoke until blood was dripping down her freckled neck, the children were quiet and didn't even dare to cry or make a sigh of relief they were still alive and their mother too. A while after J.t. had the knife pressed against Tacy's neck he finically broke the silence with a yell. "You little shits need to learn some respect, and I will not stop until you start treating me better".Everyone was confused it was him who needed to treat the family better and who needed to respect them. That long full mooned night went on with mom driving herself and the rest of the kids to the hospital. Mary's mother didn't answer the doctors when they asked her what had happened and if she was taking any medication not subscripted at the time. the night was long, Mary's mother was fine in the morning but Mary Mary had a cut along both sides of each ankle and her hip while non of the other kids were injured, Mary couldn't remember why she has cuts on her body. It seemed as if she blacked out like a wear wolf on a full dark moon.
