Brent
"Dude, a love letter? are you freaking kidding me?" I looked at my bestfriend in disbelief.
"Look bro, She's like an old school romantic okay?" He responded "Can you just put this thing in her bag? I only have one class with her and we're seated far away from each other. Didn't you say she's your seatmate in Math?" He added handing me the white envelope.
"Yeah and now you're making me regret even tellling you such little things like this" I groaned, irritated.
"C'mon Brent. All you gotta do is drop this in her bag without anyone looking" He pleaded "This is my only chance to finally get her."
"Man, you're so whipped. I swear if someone sees me, I'll make sure you'll never have kids" I said, running a hand through my hair.
"You can't tell anyone about this bro."
"Yeah whatever."
"Thanks bro, i owe you."
'the things i do for my bestfriend.' i murmured loud enough for him to hear as we went our separate ways.
That was Cody Dylan, my overly whipped bestfriend who claims to be "in-love" with my math seatmate, Kira Jones. Kira is that one girl in school that everyone just loves. She has dirty blonde hair and friendly blue eyes. She was the sporty one, captain of the volleyball and basketball team. Cody has been crushing on this girl for three years now but Kira had a boyfriend during those years. So, now that they broke up, Cody thought this was finally his chance. Kira's bestfriend, Alesia, has been gladly helping him and she was the one who thought of this brilliant letter-confession idea.
note the sarcasm.
Unfortunately though, I was the 'chosen one' to sneakily slip this letter inside her bag.
Do tell me, How exactly do you resist your desperate bestfriend who wants nothing but to be with the girl he claims to love?
Right. you can't.

Next thing i know, I'm already looking around, praying nobody will catch me as i zip open the dark denim purse on the chair beside mine. I slipped the neatly folded letter in and closed it then my eyes trained over to Kira, who thankfully, is too busy chatting with her friends in the corner to notice what i just did.
I slouched in my seat trying hard to pretend like nothing happened. A few minutes later the bell rang and Kira sat. I couldn't help myself as i continuously glance at the purse. Minutes felt like hours and i blocked out most of Ms. O'Brian's words. Yeah Cody, you really do owe me... a lot.
I breathed a big sigh of relief when the bell finally rang signaling the end of class.
Mission accomplished.Kira sprang from her seat and shouted "Wait up, Eria!" As far as i know, Eria wasn't really part of Kira's clique but as i said earlier, Everybody loves Kira. Not that i really care about that.
Eria though, was a different story. She has always been a wonder to me. She's an okay looking brunette who always has this smile on her face and it's not that kind of smile that's creepy, nope, not at all, It was one of those warm smiles that cheers you up. Eria's like a jar of nutella.... a bottle of happiness. Now you might think i like her, but no. i never even had a conversation with her and i dont really mind.
"Here!" Kira's high-pitched voice snapped me out of my thoughts. "Zoe told me to give this to you, she said you left it at her house."
My eyes widened as they traced down to the dark denim purse Kira was handing Eria.
