Hey loves! Thank you for reading my introductory chapter! My name is Mika but online I go by Odemira. I am Maori and was born and raised in New Zealand, I emigrated to Australia 4 years ago to be with my boyfriend and we now have two daughters together. One is a (terrible) two year old and the other is a (fussy) two month old.
I have been on Wattpad since 2011 after my twin sister encouraged me to join, I haven't looked back since! If you are a reader of mine you will know that most of what I write is set in the werewolf genre and that is because I started reading werewolves on Wattpad and had always wanted to write one so I did.
Even though I am Maori I am a bit iffy about writing about Maori topics and subjects. Where I come from is a small "village" of about 75-100 people and although most of them know I write there's still a lot of tradition and superstition around many Maori things I want to write about and if I write something Maori I want to do it justice and get it just right. So I stick with werewolves and other such fantastic fantasy creatures.
I think with the growing population of Polynesians on Wattpad this page could be a great resource so if you have questions that need answering or want a bit of help just let me know, my inbox is always open!
