Y/n POV

Once I left marks house, I really didn't want to go home. I called Talia, no answer, then I called Gray, also, no answer.
"Hey, umm, it's gray, so uh, you know what to do" Grayson's awkward voicemail said through the speaker of my phone, I'm not gonna lie, it cheered me up a little bit, since it was hilarious.
"Hi, it's me, y/n, if you get this voicemail, I just wanted to let you know, that I'm coming home, not for too long tho, so umm, I'll talk to you whenever I can." I said, also awkwardly into my speaker, and sent the voicemail, chuckling at myself, because of my awkwardness. I looked up from my phone, and looked back at marks apartment building, I walked away and along streets I don't find very familiar.

I walked for about 20 minutes until I find myself at a very nice park, it had a huge and clean playground, with a lot of little kids, running around enjoying themselves, with their parents laughing at whatever parent talk they're having "y/n!" I hear someone call from behind, I really didn't feel like talking to anyone right now but I was forced to turn around to whoever was awaiting me.
I turn around, to no one I knew, I shifted my head in different directions, looking for someone who might've called my name, soon I see someone walking up towards me, waving their hand in the air, it was Alex aiono!

"Alex! Hey! How are you?" I asked him, pulling him in for a hug.
"I'm doing really well, I'm about to go on tour, I'll be able to go to Australia! You know how crazy that sounds?" He says, very excited "yeah that sounds awesome!" I said back to him, also excited "how have you been?" He said looking at the ground smiling, but that smile soon turned into a frown. "To be honest, I'm not doing so well, I didn't even sleep at home last night" I didn't want to bring the mood down, or have it become awkward so I blurted out a question. "You have a new song right?! I haven't listened to it yet!" I asked, ignoring what I had just said about my life.

We talked about his career but soon he got a phone call from his manager, signalising that he needed to go, I hugged him and we parted ways.
I finally pull up the maps, and realise that our apartment is very close from here, I really need to go on walks like these more often.
I got to the house, looking around "hello?" I asked through the house "hello?" I heard a voice back, it was Talia "hey!" I screamed running up to her "where's gray?" I asked "him and Eth went to the store, they will actually be back soon, so you better pack quickly" she said blankly, I was taken aback, I tried to hug her yet she pushed me off "just go" she mumbled, and walked back to her room, I look down at my phone 5 missed calls from gray, 3 from Talia, nothing from eth, I was kinda disappointed, I quickly ran to my old room and packed my clothes, laptop, filming equipment and other common essentials. I heard the car pull up, no avoiding them now. I quickly throw the rest of the things I needed, in the suitcase and zipped it, I walked out into the living room, Talia on the couch, watching some weird Netflix show, she looked back at me, said nothing and looked back at her tv, all with a blank face, I walk to the door sadly, put my phone in my pocket and held my hand on the door handle "I'm leaving now" I said, trying to have her say something, I look slightly back, out of the corner of my eye, I see her look back over to me, I look at the door handle, tears forming in my eyes, if I open this door handle, I'm not coming back. "This is forever" I said again, trying to make her disagree with my decision, I look back again, she's not doing anything, after moments of silence I look at the door handle, my hand still resting on it, I blink away a tear and and start to twist the doorknob the door "please" I hear words from behind me, I look back, to see Talia, fully in tears "please, don't go" she whined again, tears streaming down her face "I-" I started "no, I'm begging you, please do not go" I didn't say anything. Silence. "I'm-" I was cut off by the fire alarms going off, the whole building filled with the sound of it, it was quite deafening, I jumped back from the door as two people barged in "there's a fire get ou-!!" The boys yelled, but soon calmed down as they realised where it was coming from, they started right behind me, with shock on their faces, I slowly turn around, to Talia standing right next to a ball of fire , coming from downstairs, it started to heat up the floor, Talia ran to go get shoes on "TALIA! WE HAVE TO GO!" Grayson yelled, very worried about her, once she came out of her room, a ring of fire surrounded her, just like in the movies, it was terrifying, the flames were really high, she couldn't jump over it, we were all very panicked, soon we heard a very loud crash, the fire burnt though and where Talia was standing, caved right in and she fell right down to the next level "GO!" I yelled to the boys, we ran quickly down the stairs.

We bursted right through the door and see her laying on the ground, surrounded by fire "GO, GET OUT OF HERE!" We hear a fireman yell "MY BEST FRIEND IS IN THERE!" I yelled at him "GET OUT!" He demanded. We were rushed out by more firemen and I had no idea what to do.
I jumped right into Ethan's arms and started crying "that's my best friend! She can't die!" I sobbed into his shoulder, looking at the building entrance to hopefully find her walking out, as good as ever, but it didn't happen. "It'll be okay" he says trying to calm me down "no! It won't be okay. I left her to die in there!" I said, still sobbing. Ethan didn't say anything. Guilt rising up in me "ITS ALL MY FAULT!" I screamed, slightly scaring Ethan, I fell to the ground sobbing uncontrollably, both the boys at my side calming me down "y/n, look up!" Grayson said in a happy and light tone, I look up wiping my tears and I see Talia walking out with a fireman by her side to support her, in case she fell down, I get up and speed walk over to her, trying not to create a scene "yes young lady, she is fine, may have a broken arm but that's it" the fire lady, actually said before I could even speak, Talia looked up at me and smiled.
Soon, Ethan, gray and I were in the back of an ambulance, as Talia lays down in a stretcher, Grayson's holding her hand, which is the one that is not broken, eth and I were on the other side, I'm snuggled up in Ethan's arms, I feel really safe, man this boy.

(Ethans POV)

Talia is perfectly fine, Grayson is now driving to wherever he's taking us, with Talia in the front next to him y/n and I are in the back, she's fast asleep in my lap, dry tears on her cheeks and I'm playing with her hair "gray, where are we going?" I ask him "we're going to stay at a hotel for a while until we can figure something" gray said back, smiling slightly into the rear view mirror. Talia looked back at y/n and smiled "I'm glad she didn't leave" Talia said, "me too" gray and I say in sync "honestly, Ethan, stop talking to other girls y/n is a keeper, she's such a great person, and you're taking it for granted, she's my best friend, stop hurting her" Talia said, with serious written all over her face "I won't, I promise."
