Sweet summer night

Hello fellow Wattpad users!! This is my first story I've ever published, so bear with me. I'm only going to publish the first chapter for now, so let me know if you have any feedback. Enjoy!!

As far as high schoolers go, Jamie was a normal 17 year old girl. She got just above average grades, was semi-popular and loved being social at parties. She was in good physical shape, standing at a height of 5' 7", with toned arms, leg and abs. She had medium length brown hair and amazing blue eyes that you could get lost in.

Our story starts out on a normal Friday night. It was almost summer, but school wasn't out quite yet. Jamie was at a party at her friend Anna's house. Although there were plenty of people to talk to, Jamie just felt lonely. As soon as she walked in the door, she saw both of her ex-boyfriends with their current girlfriends. Even though her friendship with both of them was good, she always felt weird and awkward when she saw them.

After circling the house, and having a drink on the way, Jamie stopped at the staircase. She looked at the stairs going down, then at the ones going up. Deciding she wanted to get some fresh air to clear her head, Jamie went up. After ascending the stairs, she came to a hallway that had 5 doors. Jamie picked the second one, which led to a small bedroom. She closed the door behind her and walked across the room and opened the sliding glass door which led to a small balcony. Jamie leaned over the railing and took in a deep breath of fresh air. She could smell the pine trees and freshly cut grass. Birds chirping could be heard. And the setting sun created a beautiful pink horizon. It was a beautiful June night. No. It was a perfect June night. Jamie sat down with her back against the house and closed her eyes, breathing in the sweet summer air. Then, Jamie heard the bedroom door creak open...
