Finally. Rocky and I have finally reached
Miami. There was no way we could find this angel at 2:30 am. We would just have to wait.
We had been attacked at a dress shop, a dance hall and our school prom. Who knows where we could be attacked next. The demons were unpredictable.
I asked Rocky to the school prom because I love her. I'm pretty lucky she said "yes" but I think she only said that because she didn't want me to be alone. She would never love me back.
We stayed at a motel called "Miami's Stay". It was cheap and vacant making it just right. I was nearly broke, though and Rocky was on the brink of being broke, too.
"So, where do we start?" asks Rocky while we unpacked our backpacks.
"We should start at the Miama Mall. Huge place. The more places to search, yoh know?" I say. Rocky smiles.
"Sounds like a plan." she said.
I had an uneasy sleep last night. The beds were hard and scratchy. Rocky some how slept like a baby.
The next morning, I spoke to Rocky.
"Please keep a low profile." I said. She raised an eyebrow.
"I always keep a low profile."
"You destroyed a dress shop and the school prom." I say. She laughs.
"You were there, too."
I drove to Miami Mall with Rocky by my side. I smelt the perfume on her. She smelt and looked beautiful.
We walked around, searching every shop. We seperated, to get to shops quicker. Suddenly, my phone started to ring. It was Rocky.
"Yo!" I said.
"Quick! Meet me at the front of Hot Topic now! I think I found something." she said and hung up. I ran to where Hot Topic was and found it. She was looking at a poster.
The poster was a blonde boy with a guitar. The poster had big blue writing that said: "Austin Moon! Meet 'n' Greet TODAY! Sonic Boom."
I looked at the boy's wrist and there is was: a horribly photoshopped scar. Someone didn't want that to be seen and obviosly lacked computer skills trying to get rid of it.
We made our way to Sonic Boom. A girl was at the register fiddling with so many things. I walked over to her.
"Hi. Do you know where Austin Moon is?" I ask. She smiled awkwardly giving me the impression that she liked me.
"He, um, is upstairs getting ready. Can I leave a message?" she asks.
"It's really important that me and Rocky sees him."
"Look, I can't help you. Customers aren't aloud up in the music room." she said. I look at Rocky.
"Customers? Ha! We're reporters for...Pop Up! We're here to interview him." I say. I turn around and wink at Rocky. She nods.
"Well, if that's the case, make it quick. He has to be here in a little over five minutes." says the girl.
Rocky and I walk upstairs and enter a small room. A guy is fixing a tie and humming a song, looking in a mirror.
"Oh, hey man, what's up?" says the guy named Austin. I noticed his scar.
"Austin Moon, right?" I say. He nods. I show him my scar.
"We have a bit to catch up on."
