After a while, the judges were ready to announce the results. Everyone took their seats as they looked at the announcer.
"First I would like to say thank you to all of the participants of this years contest! Don't forget that there are solo performances tomorrow! But as of now, we have the results for the groups! Coming in last place is.... Arya, Dominic, Rey, Kayla, and Sam!" Arya growled in annoyance and went on the stage as Robin smirked. "Coming in fourth place is.... Ace, Robert, Cassady, and Quinton!" The four smiled as they went up and got their medal and a check of $1,000. Fourth place was okay for them. They didn't mind. "Third place is.... Timothy, Martina, Dahlia, and Kaze!"
"Aww!" Marti pouted but smiled and went up with her brother and group to get the bronze medals and a check of $3,000.
"Second place is.... Jonathan, Juaquine, Diamond, and Crystal!"
"Yes!" They smiled and went up to get the silver medals and a check of $5,000. That only left one group left.
"And the winner of this years group musical awards is.... Nick, Robin, Israel, Angela, Shigure, and Azura!"
"Woohoo!!" They cheered. "We did it!" Arya and Dominic glared before Azura and Shigure's director came up to them and talked to the announcer. He looked at the two before nodding.
"Apparently there has been a change! Arya and Dominic's group is disqualified! I did not notice before, but we do not allow that kind of clothing in here!"
"What?!" Arya exclaimed as Robin smirked more.
"Serves you right!"
"Would the winning group please come up here?" The six smiled and went up on the stage to receive their gold medals and a check of $10,000. Arya and Dominic glared one last time before leaving the stadium.
"She deserves it." Israel smirked.
"Oh yeah. But they're still in for tomorrow." Nick noted.
"Still gonna be the same." The others smirked. "At least we beat them in here!" Shigure chuckled and nodded.
"Congrats you guys!" Their friends all said as the went backstage. Azura couldn't help but smile. They won this and hopefully one of them will win tomorrow too.
