Growling, that's all that could be heard as I ducked behind a tree. Breathing deeply, I gripped my bow and peered beyond the tree. The beast was staring right at me. Frozen. In fear? No. In a rush of adrenaline I stepped out whilist pulling my bow, arrow in line of the beast in front of me. The beast bowed its front legs, preparing to attack me, I didn't think another word as I felt my arrow whistle past my head to the beast.
I closed my eyes for a split second as the beast yelped and fell over. The snow already put heavy layers over top of it as I stand with my cloak up. My eyes snapped open when I heard a branch twig snap behind me, I focused my attention behind me, a man stood, unsure of who it was I jumped back, my hood falling off my head.
The man that stood before myself was handsome. I took in his appearance before I put my hand on my arrows, readying myself to defend myself. His sea glass eyes penetrating my own brown eyes. He lifted his hands up, making sure not to be near his sword, that I didn't even notice was mounted to his waist.
"Who are you?" His voice was raspy and masculine. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. He stared at me awaiting my answer. Attempting to take a step forward, I stepped back as he did. "You're hurt.."His eyes scanned my arm that was scratched from when the beast first attacked. I snapped my eyes back up at him, shaming myself for letting my eyes notice the gash on my arm.
"My name is not of importance to you." I spoke with clarity of my confidence. I could tell he was from a castle, possibly from the French court from hearing his accent, he had a black stead next to him, a royal crest on his cloak. "Return to the castle where you Royals belong and forget I was here."I stated before pulling my hood back up and running off behind a bush.
Sebastians POV
The girl jumped behind a bush before I could push for information, I ran up to where she was just at and realized she was gone. I turned to what she was doing before I was there. The dead beast laid with snow caking on top of it. Looking back at where the girl once was I noticed a emblem on the ground. Bending over and picking it up I inspected the piece of metal. It was dented and scratched up with blood caked on it.

My eyes widened at the sight of the German royal emblem. Who was she? What does she have to do with the Germans? And why is she in France?
All of these questions I had were bound to be answered. Possibly even sooner than I had thought.
I placed the emblem in my pocket, swiftly getting back on my horse as I took off back to the castle. My job here was done, by that mystery German beauty.
Tali's POV
I watched from a far as the man got back on his horse with my emblem I dropped stupidly. Now he knows who she is. Possibly. I turned to head back to my carriage. If he truly knew who I was, then I will be tarnished as Queen Tali Grey of Germany. The Huntress who is vengeful and aggressive. If my people knew of my history, I would be casted of my throne with my head on the platter for all to see.
"Ready, my Queen?" I nodded to my driver as he helped me into my seat, my arrow and bow was swiftly hidden in the back of the carriage before he saw. I watched the scenery outside my carriage as he drove us to France, where I was to be in French Court until I found a man I could be wedded to.
I was so zoned out I didn't realize we had stopped. "Your Majesty, Queen Tali Alexandra Grey of Germany!" My announcer opened my door and helped me out, people were gathered, I saw what looked to be King Francis and Queen Mary. And the man I was just seen by...staring at me.
