"Get off me!" Harriet yells. Ila hears the commotion from outside of the computer lab.

"C'mon babe, why not? I promise it won't hurt," Garret says, grabbing at the small brunette. Ila walks in.

"She said get off Garret. And I'm pretty sure she meant now," Ila says threateningly, crossing her arms.

"Or what? Little miss trouble maker gonna hurt me?" He laughs. "Get lost loser."

Ila steps forward and punches Garret in the face. She uses enough force for him to grab his face and step back.

     "Get lost Garret," Ila says.

"Oh you're gonna regret this! I'll get you, you bitch!" Garret yells.

What is this? So sort of horror movie? A fanfiction? What the fuck is he on about? Ila thinks to herself. "Get, I need in here," She says to Harriet.

"Thanks Ila," Harriet says and runs off.

Harriet was one of the few people she never had to fight. She was sweet and innocent. She was also somehow connected with Ila. She could tell how Harriet talked. How she acts towards Ila. She never laughed. Never tried to hurt or call out Ila. Harriet was somehow connected.

And her eyes set Ila off. Her eyes were blue, piercing blue. Blue like ice in some places, and in others darker than the ocean. Just like Bryan she thought. Bryan was another wisp of the past. Something she could never get a hold of but something she could never let go. Is that cheesy? Does that make sense?

Currently Ila had to do research. See how fast things are going now.

News from yesterday? She types into Google.

     Police station vandalized

Okay, so small stuff first... let see if they have anything on cars.

Hijacked BMW found keyed in abandoned alley. No fingerprints or DNA samples.

Huh. So, they found out about what she did a month ago. Nice. She couldn't find anything about the car she let roll into the lake so she's safe for now.

"Miss Ila, it is 4:30 all students are to be out of the school and heading home," Mr. Jackenman says.

"Yes sir," Ila says. She closed out of the tab gets her stuff and leaves.

"Ila. You should learn to hide your crimes more," Mr. Jackenman says.

Ila smiles and keeps walking. "Not on the news yet Mr. Jackenman."  She says mockingly.

     "They'll find it soon."

"And no evidence of who did it."

"Vocabulary test tomorrow, Ila. Be ready."

She snorts. "Yeah, yeah, have I ever flunked one of your  tests?"

Then she starts to walk home.

Well, this home. She doesn't want to leave this one. But if she has to leave, she wants to stay close in the area. Nice neighborhood. But she doubts that would be a problem. She's been here for about 10 years.

It's a mystical town. Interesting place with interesting people. There are people who have ten cats. There are people with ten dogs. There are people who hate animals and work next to the vet. And on one block, there are people with six kids that look nothing alike and aren't their  own.
