Averal was running down the stairs trying to catch the phone before it

stopped ringing cursing herself for leaving it down there in the first

place

Hello she gasped.

Damn girl how longs it take ya to answer on ya best friend?

Ebony I laughed sorry sweets I left the phone downstairs I had to run

to get it or you'd have gone to voicemail Averal laughed she could

imagine the look on Eb's face if she have gotten voicemail.

No way Av don't you let me get that stupid machine ebony stated then

laughed I'd have chased you down girl

Averal chuckled they'd shortened each others names years ago but no

one else dare

So Ebony said are you out tonight?

Averal sighed just because I'm home Eb doesn't mean I'm back to the

way I was

Ebony snorted, there's nothing stopping you coming out with an old

friend is there? She said this very sweetly making Averal realise she

was up to something.

Very carefully Averal said what are you up to Eb.

There was silence on the line for a few seconds then Ebony said

Who me? Nothing I jut want to see my ol friend be happy

Think about it Av you've been through so much I know you where unhappy

with him living away from your friends and family

Just want you to realise your free of it now she paused for a moment

then said

Is that so wrong to want to help a friend?

I sighed I knew I couldn't say anything other than of course not Eb

Ok well in that case I'll pick you up around 7:30 see ya later she said

before I could disagree she had put the phone down.

I looked at the phone still in my hand

I do not need this shit I said to myself but went up stairs to see

what I had to wear god only knows where we are going to end up.
