Sunlight streamed through the windows as Dad and I drove through the forest road. The awkward silence being dissipated with the words from the Thunder on the radio. Mom in the back hummed the lyrics while Dad and I shouted them out. We were on our way to the vacation house, for summer when suddenly, Dad stopped our car and got out. Startled, I joined him and found a steep and rocky cliff in front of us.

"Well, looks like we're stuck!", said my Dad. "Now what do we do", I asked.

"Well, why don't you go ahead this way while your Mom and I go the other way?"

I was very confused. What was Dad talking about? After all, we were on vacation. As swift as lightening, Dad raised his hand and punched my gut, sending my falling down the cliff, screaming for help as my Dad kept calling my name.

I awoke with a scream as the bad dream faded to a dull headache at the back of my mind. I squeezed my eyes shut for a few moments, watching my frequent nightmare fade away.

Opening my eyes, I get up and out of the corner of the alley I call 'home'. I head over to Bismuth Bites, the restaurant near by to get myself a good seat...........right near the dumpster. Heading over to its rear, I open the trash lid and skim through the menu- rotten fish, mixture of gravies, grime, rotten veggies, among a few other things. Since trash eating had become quite of a habit of mine, I knew exactly what to take- the fish and veggies. I stuffed these in my mouth to avoid tasting and walked out to my 'school' a few blocks away..

Chill! It was a real school with roof, tables and everything. Only difference was that they had no idea I existed. Walking over to a window near the street, I peered in through the window, and tried to hear the quiet whispers of voices from the classroom.

The teacher was talking about the environment and how it reflects us. Well, then I guess that is true, my environment and I both are filthy and slowly dying out of heartache and suffering. Sighing, I listened in silence when all of a sudden, the security guard spots me.

Not like it never happened before, but I followed what my life motto has now become- If its kind or dangerous, run, because both cause eventual death. So I ran, turned a few corners, wheezing and panting to catch my breath; don't want to burn my limited carbs for the day.

I turned another corner, when BAM! I bumped into someone. Shit! Now I'll be caught. I stumbled and fell on my rump. Wincing at my stinging ass, I looked up at the only obstacle between my capture ad my 'freedom'. Well......saying that he was handsome would be an understatement. This man was clearly drop-dead GORGEOUS!! His tall frame with broad shoulders were covered by a coat to protect him from the cool winds blowing this winter morning. His mop of brown hair, ruffled due to our collision and his face.....I can't even describe it. He offered me his hand and without realising it, I grabbed it. He pulled me up and I looked away, a slight blush creeping up on my face.

"No, I should turn around and leave....none of this will end well for me",I thought to myself I muttered a sorry to the man and ran around him, taking a short cut to my cardboard home. As I entered the narrow alleyway and headed to my cardboard box house, I heard a shuffling behind me. Instantly on guard, I became more alert. Pretending like I didn't notice the sound, I proceeded forward, discreetly bending down as if to tie my torn shoe's laces but picking up a rock instead. Swiftly spinning around, I lifted the rock, ready to hit my perpetrator when suddenly I felt sick in the stomach. As I collapsed onto the ground the feeling of the person's fist still stinging my gut, I felt sweaty and rough hands on my arms before I finally gave in to tiredness, embracing the darkness.

Great, so this is how I die? After everything I end up dead as a rape victim?
