Finns pov

We made it to her uncles place I stood in the door way of the kitchen while she explained it all. The abuse how long it's been going on and most importantly what happened today. My mom is on her way here to help us. My mom was super upset when I told her what I was doing but she could never say no to me. Her uncle sat there in awe as she showed him her bruises she got up and walked over to me pointing at me neck " look at what he did to finn" she exclaimed " I'm fine really I'm okay" I said while pulling away a little. " he has to go to jail but I don't want to be taken into foster care I'm still under 18 you know they would stick me in some children's home where I won't get adopted until I turn 18 then they send me on my own. Where I end up on the streets or dead." She said with tears in her eyes " Nick I don't have anywhere to go" her uncle pulled her into a loving hug while she broke down in his arms " sweetie I will do everything in my power to make sure you never have to go into foster care it's all going to be okay" they both fell to the ground where he rocked her back and fourth. There was a knock at the door so loud it made all of us jump. Nick let go of her and led her to the couch. He walked up to the door and put his hand on his belt when my eyes followed his hands I realized he had a gun on his waist my heart raced. " who is it?" He asked " um hi I'm finns mom he called me and gave me this address" we sighed in relief he opened the door and let her in. She basically tackled me and hugged me right " mom.." she cut me off with so many question " Finn wolfhard are you crazy ! You could have been extremely hurt! " she looked all over me and noticed the bruises on my neck from her father's grip on it. " what did that man do to you! Where is he" Nick came up to us " he is home but we are taking this serious but slowly." " and why is that he should be in prison! Wheres Your friend is she okay?!" I pointed to the couch she looked over looked back at me and started raising her eyebrows " mom stop." " we're taking it slowly because if he goes to jail then she goes to foster care and we don't want that we need to figure out a way to keep her out of foster care but also get him to go to jail." My mom paused a moment " well can't she just stay with you" I looked over at Casey " that's the thing mom we arnt sure if they would let her" we all we're quite Casey shoots her head up " what if he get arrested and is forced to give up his parental rights?" I knew what she was thinking but my dumbass had to ask " what are you saying?" I asked stupidly " we call the police and DCYF let them arrest him tell them what been going on and for how long they have to take away his parental rights and then Nick can just adopt me" I knew it... I sighed " but we don't even know if they will take his rights again usually they have to take parenting classes then they get you back anyways and what if you can't stay with Nick while he takes those classes you'll be off in some home somewhere with no way of communication.. no you can't do that" I said while shaking my head and crossing my arms " Finn.." she started to say with pleading eyes I cut her off " no I-I I can't sit here and do this not knowing for certain that I'm not gonna loose you ." Her breath started to stagger " then I stay here and hope to god he never finds me.. cuz trust me Finn he will!" She said stepping twords me I stepped twords her and Nick got in between us " okay okay calm down .. we will figure this out okay just calm down we can't be at each others throats like this" we stepped back  from each other " she stays here till we figure this out and I'm staying with her" I said " Jesus Finn your not her father" my mom shot back at me " no I'm not cuz her dad is an abusive alcoholic douche bag" Casey rolled her eyes " you can't stay here Finn you have to go back t.." I shook my head " not until I know your gonna be safe!" "Finn sweetie I can't leave you here" my mom said " why not?" " Finn you're 15 years old I'm not leaving my 15 year old son here to play hero. This isn't acting Finn it's real life there's no one to yell cut when you're gonna get hurt" i shook my head " what if something happens to her and I'm not here" my mom pulled me into a hug " then I'll make sure your on the first plane to her honey, but I can't let you stay here" Casey looked away with tears in her eyes. I let go of my mom and walked up to her " Finn you have to go.. "   " I know.."   I pulled her into a warm embrace " I don't want to leave you" I said with a shakey voice " Finn you won't I'm not going anywhere "     " for now what if they take you away I'll never hear from you or at least I won't hear anything for a while I'm gonna go crazy" " Finn I'm not going to get taken away." " how do you know..?" I said while holding her tighter. "Becuase.." she said while pulling away and looking me in my eyes.
