Chapter 8:Kentucky Hopeful's Grief Gallery

-Time skip!-
     It been three months that Kentucky confess her feeling for Dr.Steven without trying to tell the other mechs she cared for. It wasn't long that he admitted his feeling leading to actually becoming a couple. Sadly,he was getting I'll,his doctor said he was getting brain cancer. "Steven?Are you okay?I brought you some breakfast." Kentucky said walking into his office with a box full of food. He smile saying, "Thanks Kentucky,so how have you been feeling?".
     She blush a tiny bit," I feel okay, always hungry. Sorry I ate alittle bit too."she said. Moving to a seat she sigh saying,"I still feel that it was too early Steven..."he sigh. "I'm sorry,but it's the rule of nature to do so.And who knows how long I am going to live Kentucky,I need you to be there to live your life okay."he said moving his chair around to face his desk. Kentucky frown getting up and saying,"I'll see you later I guess. "she close the door upset. Her eyed faded sadly walking till a voice shock her saying,"Are you alight Kentucky?". I turn to see Jazz walking up with a box of supplies for children.
      "No,Dr.Steven been acting very upset lately and he act as if he hates me,but..."she said holding her hands together. "I want to tell him something that every important to me and I am excited to share it with everyone."she smile widely. A grin wipe across his face asking,"What is it?"kneeling down with him close up to hear. Leaning up to him with one hand close to her mouth to whisper,"I am going to have a baby.".
       He shot up shock and wide optics looking at her trying to figure who done it to her. "He the-Oh boy,what is Ratchet going to say?"he said till he notice her frowning. "He going to be a grandfather if that what you call them."he chuckle picking up the clothes. She lightly smile again,"Thank you Jazz,I need all the support I can get specially since this is my first time."she giggle.
(Jazz's POV)
      She seem happy to have a baby for her own,plus it will be cute to see a little tiny human up here. "How about this, I'll go and tell Bee and we make it our secret.Till you are ready."I said. She nod about to walk into Ratchet's office to see he wasn't there. "Late night again."she said and waving bye to him so she could fall asleep. I smile going to the upper smaller storages area to only find me there bored. "Can't believe our little ladie is going to have her own offspring."he said placing the box down.
      "How am I going to deal with this, funny almost like with Ratchet when we got her."I turn to see Smokescreen. His optics were wide to show shock emotion till a burning flame went up I his optics. "WHO DID WHAT TO KENTUCKY!!!"he yelled beside being her guardian. "Dude,calm.Only Kentucky knows,she was planning to tell you guys later."I said surprise. The mech still mad walk off to his bunker with a grumpy face on.
(Kentucky's POV)
    I couldn't fall asleep so I walk to the door to see Smokescreen walk slowly I slowly walk up to him. He stop to smile lightly,"So your having a baby right?" he quietly said. I nod to see his worry till I smile,"That just means a smaller version of me will be a baby,I promise it will be good."I said. A bid came from him as he actually walk me to the extra room with a sky view. I notice my yellow bot was playing video games with Cliffjumper. My eyes start to feel a wierd feeling inside trying to cope with the idea of them taking it. "Bumblebee, Cliffjumper.Can I talk to you for a second?"she said holding her breath.

Typing of a screen echo in the room as a small hologram enters,"Dr. Steven,I am from Autobot's Scrabble City bass ship to inform you. That your illness has becoming worst,we have sent a mech to bring you here for surgery."a mech said. Dr. Steven lean back in his chair looking at the box if food.
      "Sorry, Kentucky.I have to live."he close the box standing up folding the screens and his flowing lab coat heading to the port. Optimus Prime stand at the base of the ship to see Kentucky running to the port,"Steven!Where are you going?"she yelled leaning on the rods. He turn back frowning,"I'm dieing Kentucky,I won't live the next day. And I don't want you to face it,we have to break up."he said turning away waiting to hear her sobbing.
     Her hands grasp the metal bars while tears stream down her face pushing her to run down the hallway. Optimus turn to see him walk away as if it was nothing leaving her alone on the ship.
Her steps echo the empty hallways to the top floor only to seek a quiet place to cry. The blue tears left behind her was only memories of her past and now with people. The left foot trip the right to land on the floor holding her arms crying.
(Ratchet's POV)
     When I heard that Dr.Steven left the ship telling Kentucky he was going to die I had to stop my shift to find her. I look all over the bottom floors leading me to the second floor to find Optimus unamused. "Kentucky went up stairs towards the storage area.I spent her guardians to look down here for her." he said moving out of the way for me to run. I went up the glass elevator to see the top floor,the empty hallways we're quiet except for one. "Kentucky!"I called hoping it was her,a small wiper came from a corner to show her holding her arms.
     I knew her for almost three months to know that she was still to young to face this alone. Slowly I walk up to her and she notice me saying,"Ratchet,why does the world have to be so cruel?". My own self sat down to see her hold her stomach,"I cannot answer that myself Kentucky,but if the world was so cruel it would have taken you offspring away."she look up shock.
      "How do you know!"she said while he smile listening her talk on hoping he wouldn't topple anyone helm off. "You live with your caretaker that is a doctor,who studies I human body at here."he said when he notice Bumblebee walking up to hide behind corner. She smile slowly and gasp to see the other listening.
