" WELL AT least i know i'm not going to die" she cracked, nudging richie. he rolled his brown eyes, pushing her off him.
"i saw us, saw us together, back in the cistern. but we were older." beverly continued, her eyes glancing at the group.
"w-w-what were we all doing there?" bill inquired.
"i just remembered how we felt. how scared we were, i don't think i can ever forget that" she replied. victorias eyes bored into the ground, but her eyes found a new target to look at once bill stood up.
"swear. swear. if it isn't dead. if it ever comes back, we'll come back too." bill pledged, holding a shard of glass.
one by one, they all stood up. victoria watched as bill made his way around the group, piercing their skin with the sharp unclean glass. everyone's arms extended, their hands touched as crimson blood dripped from their skin. victoria looked at the small hand that perfectly connected with hers, smiling up at the brunette. he lightly grimaced at the unsanitariness, earning a light chuckle from her.
"i gotta go" stanley spoke up, earning all eyes on him. "i hate you" they all looked around in silence before breaking into laughter. victoria kept her smile, her eyes dancing with amusement "i'll see you later"
"goodbye stan" bill quietly spoke, the losers watching his retreating figure.
everyone spoke their goodbyes. victoria stretched out her arm, the bloody handing reaching out to eddie. he froze, his adams apple bobbing up and down. but he took her hand, both teenagers walked hand in hand,
neither of them knew what it had in store for them.
