Light. Then, Dark.

Guren loved it everytime he saw that light burning in those steel blue eyes.

Everytime that teasing voice would ring like bells, or everytime his glowing face sneaked into his mind.

Over time they'd gotten so close, it had scared the Lieutenant Colonel.

But now he couldn't worry about that.

No, not now that the male stood there, the crimson liquid from the deep wound in his chest escaping him before Guren's violet eyes. They locked with the shadowy orbs of his teammate, who opened his mouth, blood splattering down onto Guren's face as Shinya spoke.

"I'm sorry, G-Guren. I've always l-loved y-you. I always w-will..." Ice cold hands brushed against his cheek, leaving a trail of blood. And then, the sound of a dead body hitting the floor flooded through the room, the last words ringing in the ears of the only one alive.

He was frozen in his place hot tears burning down his cheeks, before a scream ripped through him, echoing in the dark. His screams went on, mixed with sobs and chokes of pain.

Guren loved it everytime he saw that light burning in those steel blue eyes. Though, the light had finally gone out, leaving him in the dark.
