I legit cried my eyes out while writing this, so have your tissues ready! There will be one more chap then the epilogue. I'll be taking a break to focus on my other stories and then I'll be back with book 2. It will be called something like ''Nearly Perfect''. I'm thinking of calling the final book ''My own little perfection'', inspired by the amazayn book, ''The Fault In Our Stars'' by John Green. If you haven't read it, READ IT YOU AWESOME SEXY FACE!

DARCYS POV

It'd been 2 weeks since we were told the news on Hunter's passing. Apparently, whilst in his comatose state, his heart rate dropped but the medics couldn't raise it again.

It was like being frozen. Knowing such an important part of your life is gone and there's nothing that you can do about it freezes you. It traps you in a whirlwind of fear, pain, hurt, grief and sadness.

''Darcy? Are you getting ready!?'', My mother called up the stairs sadly.

''I am'', I told her. I hopped into my shower and stared to clean my hair.

I cleaned my hair and body and just stood under the pounding stream for a few seconds, hoping for it to relax me. The shower jets provided something like a massage, a soft pitter patter pitter patter on my back. It relaxed the muscles that had tensed up from my lack of sleep. Even though I was sleeping in Niall's arms every night, it wouldn't lull me into the sleep that I needed.

I had decided to go back to my parents' to get ready for Hunter's funeral, considering all of my nice dresses and shoes were the in the back of my wardrobe.

I wrapped the towel tightly around my chest and another to turban my hair. I swapped the towel for my robe. I pulled my hair out of the towel and shook my head so that all of the hair was out my face. I grabbed my brush and raked it through the already formed knots. After I'd detangled my hair, I picked up the bottle of mousse and shook it vigorously.

After drying and loosely curling my hair ( and putting on underwear, obviously), I pulled my dress off of the hanger. I wiggled it on, literally, and looked in the mirror. I then wrapped the robe back around my body and sat down to do my make up. Foundation, concealer, powder, eyeliner, eye-shadow, mascara, highlighter, bronzer, blusher... You name it, it was probably on my face.

I finished off by swiping on some pale pink lipstick on. I didn't want to have bright lips. Bright is happy, I wasn't happy.

''Honey, Niall's here'', my dad shouted up the stairs to me. I yanked on my strappy heals and stuffed my phone, tissues, powder, mascara and lipstick into my bag. Hey! Who knows how long we'll be!?

I walked down the stairs of my house. I remember when I walked down on Niall and I's first  date, and then the time he took me to meet my idol, Danny O'Donoghue. Those steps held so many memories from such a short space of time. All of them consisting of Niall, the beautiful bottle blonde who lights up my life.

When I reached the bottom, only Niall was waiting for me. ''Heya baby'', he whispered as he pulled my body into his. ''The rest of your family have left for the funeral home, I'm taking you'', Niall told me.

''No, No. I'll drive us there, it's okay'', I protested whilst I shoved my trembling hand into the bowl of car keys.

''No, baby, you're in no position to drive today. Let me look after you properly today, it's the least I can do since you can't sleep'', Niall said. He wrapped his arms around my waist and dropped my keys back into the bowl.

''Wh-What do you mean?'', I asked him.

''I know you're not sleeping, Darc. Tonight, we'll go home and you can have a nice, long, hot bath and I'll put that fluffy shit on the bed and then we can watch whichever movies you want and we can have hot chocolate and whipped cream. If you want, on the way home we can stop by the shop and pick up some chocolate and chocolate strawberries to have after Chinese?'', Niall whispered as I leant into his frame. I nodded. ''Good, now let's leave. You don't want to be late''

~~

''Thank you all for joining us today to celebrate the life of Hunter Jack Blue. We all know that he was too young to go, but what happens, happens. Hunter's family wasn't a religious family, so we will not be holding a religious funeral. Just a gathering to celebrate, mourn and say goodbye to Hunter'', The woman said.

''I've spoken to all of Hunter's family, from his dad, John, to his cousin, Darcy. They all spoke very highly of Hunter. They've said he was a strong boy who wouldn't give up or give in. He was also quite stubborn, they say

I'd like to invite John Blue up to the front to say a few words''. I watched as my uncle stood up and walked onto the podium, nodding to the woman holding the ceremony.

''I know my wife would've been very proud of Hunter and where he is, was. Hunter was the type of boy that was impossible not to love. I wasn't around much for Hunter, but I was here for his last few weeks, which is what I ask for. I was here when he left, when he died and now. I guess I'm still coming to terms with the fact that my wife and son are both gone, but I won't ever get over it. I will realize that I need to stop mourning, but move on and live you in my heart. I love you Hunter. I always have, I always will, my little football star'', John cried. We all sat in silence for a few minutes until he spoke up again. ''Darcy is going to say a few words now''. Niall gave my hand a reassuring squeeze. I stood up and smoothed over my dress and pulled my hair back over my shoulder.

''Hunter was special. Whenever he was over we'd have the best of times. With him, I could go from being 18 to 8 with him. When Liam was around, I could watch as Hunter would play leapfrog over his back or make Liam run around whilst Hunter was on his back, pretending to be a pilot. I remember being there when Hunter took his first steps and first learnt to swim. I was there for his first day of primary school and his first football match. Hunter was always there for me, too, though. I went through some hard times. Because Hunter was so young, I could tell him anything, knowing he wouldn't understand or tell anyone. The beaming baby smile could lighten up my day, whatever I'd been through. After my aunt passed, for some reason I took him under my wing. It was honestly the best thing I'd ever done. I guess all I'm trying to say in my rambling is that Hunter impacted all of our lives, so much. Even Niall, who'd only known Hunter for five months. Hunter isn't the type of person to be forgotten, so he never will. I love you little bud. You remember that, okay?'', I said as I looked at the people and the coffin and then to Niall.

Niall was in the shop, buying the food. The take-away was sat in the backseat.

I looked up to the sky and looked at the smallest star.

''Forever'', I whispered. ''Forever, my baby''
