🍀 Christmas Eve 🐣

August 9, 1999.

It is the date when Lee Jaeyoon was born. His family thought him good things very well. He studied in a good school, he get high grades, he respects, he loves and cares for his family, he got few friends though but it is already good enough for him and he is very happy when he is with them.

November 11, 2005.

It is the date when everything changed. Jaeyoon's parents died on a car crash. When he knew what happened, he didn't know what to do but cried and cried. He doesn't know where he'll gonna go, where he'll gonna live, etc. Without his great parents, he is nothing.

The next few days, some random girl around mid-20s, saw Jaeyoon sitting on a bench, crying. The girl goes and ask him what's wrong.

"Why are you crying young man?"

"M-My parents are dead. And I don't know w-what to do." He said as he wipes his tears.

"Oh? Is that so? Hmm. I can help you. Come with me. Don't worry, I won't do anything bad to you." She said as she pats his head, held his hand, and smiled at him.

"O-Okay miss."

So the girl brought Jaeyoon to an orphanage. At first, he was very shy to play with the other kids, but he started to get closer to them when he stayed longer waiting for someone to adopt him.

Several months passed, a new parents came to the orphanage and adopted Jaeyoon. It is the Kim family.

When the parents got home with Jaeyoon, they introduced their only son to him.

"Jaeyoon-ah, meet your older brother, Youngbin."

Youngbin glared at Jaeyoon secretly but smiled at him after.

"Welcome to the Fam, lil bro~" He said as he hugged him.

Jaeyoon smiled and hugged him back.

"You're now, Kim Jaeyoon, my sweetheart." His new mother said as she ruffles his hair.

Few months later, Youngbin started to get jealous because of Jaeyoon. Why? Because his own parents gives more attention, love, and care to his adopted little brother.

Whenever Youngbin accidentally yell at Jaeyoon or did something bad, his parents are so angry to him like, "You shouldn't have done that! Respect your little brother!"

Everyday, he always say in his mind, "Why did that Jaeyoon came existed? I wish he wasn't here. I wish my parents didn't adopt him. He was just a distraction to me."

Years later, of course, they both go to the same school for senior highschool.

There is this certain girl that Youngbin has a huge crush on, Jasmine.

One day, he decided to confess his feelings for her. As he walked down the hallway, he saw her talking to... Jaeyoon.

Youngbin hide somewhere and listen/look at their conversation.

"...So, like I was saying... Will you be my girlfriend?" Jaeyoon asked while holding both of her hands

"Yes! I will Jaeyoon-ssi!" Jasmine said. With that, they both said 'I love you', hugged, and shared both of their first kiss.

Youngbin balled up his fists in anger and jealousy, with few tears in his eyes.

"This is too much. You've gone to far Jaeyoon. I. Hate. You." He said and he started to leave without both of them noticing him.
