-Chapter 2 •hopeless, love•
ELAINA'S POV:
I woke up to an arm draping itself over me. I turned my neck a little bit to see Lassen sound asleep. Snoring.
"Pppssst, Lassen."
I said gently taking hold of his wrist and slightly moving it away from my waist.
A few secconds later he groaned and put the pillow over his head.
I just sat there like 'excuse me, I woke u up for a reason'
"Lassen. For real. Get up."
About a minute later I got a reply.
Well, a groan.
I sighed and got out of bed. I might as well take a shower, I wreak of perfume. No wonder Lassen was all over me last night.
I quietly opened Lassen's bathroom door and shut and locked it behind me.
I looked around at the marble sinks and glass shower door. Little bamboo plants were growing in the window sill. The tile was a white marble. So marble-like it looked as if u put a lot of pressure ontop of it, it would surely shatter.
Nice white towels were nicely folded in the little walk in bathroom...CLOSET?!!?
These guys gotta own millions.
I grabbed a towel from the walk in bathroom closet and opened the shower door. I carefully turned the knob and water soothed out of the shower head. Niceeee.

I quickly washed my hair out and turned the water off. Hopefully Lassen is still sleeping...
I looked around and found no clothes for me. So I walked into the bathroom closet and took one of Lassen's long t-shirts. I learned a while back from one of my close friends Bonnie, how to wrap one around your body so it's like a dress.
Lol. That was more useful than I thought.
When I walked out of his bathroom he was still lying in bed in the same position when I left.
I just chuckled and laid back in bed.
"Sleepyhead." I said trying not to laugh after.
"Yes very." Lassen said staring at me with his gorgeous green eyes.
"Uh.. Uh yeah you are...." I said trying to catch myself from saying 'your eyes are so attractive..' Or something stupid.
"Yes but now that I have your full, attention.."
I glanced over at him from my pillow with no expression at all.
"Yeah?.." I said trying to sound somewhat normal.
"Well. Last night we had to make up a name for myself... And we picked Lassen." he said hoping I wouldn't ask questions yet.
"So your names not-?" I said with a raised brow.
"N-no... Listen El, I never wanted to lie to you.....But I'm- Im.... Stefan. You know exactly who I am.
"SteF?! HOW!!!!" Now he's just messing with me. You don't ever fool with your victims heart after you kidnap them. I mean being kidnapped's bad enough.
"Elaina, really it's me. I acted drunk so you would have to leave without me so I could go with Tyler and Daemon. We were going hunting. And now you know... I'm a vampire."
"Your a- no kidding Stefan. I saw what Daemon did so I suspected the same for you... But how did you make yourself look so different?.. I mean right now I can barely recognize you."
"Bonnie made a facial ring for me. I always use it when it's night time and we go out hunting. " Stefan said looking down at his hand and slipping off a ring from his middle finger. As I figured, his face rearranged back to his normal one.
"Stefan!! ITS REALLY YOU!" I said jumping on top of him as he smiled at me.
"Yes Elaina it's me."
He stroked my hair back behind my head as I layed on his chest.
"But why did you do that...? Kidnap me? Was that seriously nessisary. You could have just told me to not say anything about your guy's vampire abilities.."
"Ah. Yes I wish I could have just done that. But I thought for sure you would have ran away screaming Stefan's a vampire. Also.. not to change the subject but you've liked me since first grade?" Stefan said grinning/smirking down at me.
"No!!!! That wasn't true!!" I said extremely fast. Luckily, he's a vampire so he could tell what I was saying.
"Yes of course not. But that sucks cause I was too apparently." he said seeming to joke around.
"Yes Stefan I do. I admit it are you happy." I said laughing.
"Yup. Very." he said smiling at me open heartedly.
Warm feelings were all I felt inside.
