He arrived shortly at school. The driver stepped out and opened the side door. Jack stepped out and thanked his driver. His close friends, Enaja St. Louis and William Flores, raced to him as soon as he entered the building. "What's up my dude?" he welcomed with a fist bump. "Nothing much, still a bit tired" he replied, also fist bumping Enaja. This was high school after all. They had to wake up early. "Got somethin' on your mind huh?" Enaja asked. "What? Oh, nothing much. Just a weird dream I had last night." She gave him a look, as though to say "well spill it". She was a sassy girl but a good friend too. "How 'bout you tell us during lunch? There we'll be able to talk all we want" Enaja said. "Sounds good to me" replied Will. He nodded. Lunch, he hoped they wouldn't find his dream weird. As he headed to my first period, he noticed this kid seemed to be following him. He looked back to realize that he was the new student that had enrolled last week. He shrugged it off and continued on. Suddenly he had picked up the pace and they were walking side by side. It looked as though he was examining him, like some sort of trophy. "Uh, hey there. Saki was it? I'm Zackery. Is there something you need or... something?" he asked, unsure if he would answer. He looked at him and nodded no. "I just thought you were someone I knew, that's all" he replied. Although this was the first time Zack's ever talked to this kid, he looked familiar. Then he saw something that pointed him back to his dream. That japanese dragon locket he wore. Before he could ask, Saki entered his first period class. He just told himself to forget it and don't be late.

Lunch Time

"Hey 'Naja, could we swap lunches?" asked William. She looked at his lunch, a simple cheese burger. "Nope. I'm good" she said, eating her noodles. She liked to bring her own lunch. "So Zack, what was that dream you had? The walking dead? Unicorns and fairies?" Will asked, making fluttering motions with his hands. Zack sighed. "I swear, you guys are so much. Sometimes I forget how we are friends." "That's easy. 'Cause they took pity on a rich boy like you" exclaimed someone. The three looked up, it was Jonathan Pearson. "What do you want Jonathan? You looking for someone to fix that attitude, cause I can help" Enaja said, glaring at him. He buddies laughed. "Don't mess with a black woman bro!" yelled one of them, fueling her anger. She tried getting up but Will held her back. "It's okay Enaja. Look Jon, just let us be. Are you constantly seeking attention?" asked Zack. "No, I just want some money. After all, your dad is rich. Maybe some hundreds. I need to get my car fixed" he replied, grinning. "Hey! Just cause he's rich doesn't mean he has to give you anything!" "Go back to Mexico" Jonathan said, rolling his eyes. "I'm Venezualan! Get your facts straight!" he yelled back. "You must be blind because I don't constantly haul money everyday in a suitcase. I only bring what I need and it's not even in the hundreds. So go back to the cave you came from" Zack firmly stated. Jonathan grabbed a juice from his tray and poured it all over him. "Listen here ya big tomato, just cause you're rich doesn't mean anything. No bodyguard can hold me down and I got my bros here. You and your friends don't stand a chance. I want my money." he threatened. "They owe you nothing. Let them be or you mess with me" said a stern voice. They all stared at the kid who had spoken, it was a girl. Jonathan and his friends laughed. "Oh! What are you gonna do?" he taunted her. She ran at him full speed and karate kicked him on the chest. He went flying back, knocking his friends like bowling pins. He layed on the ground, confused as to what just happened. "You got knocked the heck out man!" William exclaimed. Enaja got up and joined her side. Then followed Zack and William. Will growled like a mad dog at Jonathan's friends, causing them to leave. "You should leave if you don't want your ego to drop to hell" Zack said to him. "Whatever jerks" he replied, getting up. As he left, people were cheering. They hadn't realized they had caused a scene. Luckily no teachers had seen anything. "You've got some skills girl. What's your name? Enaja asked. The girl looked at them.
"My name is Thanha Tanaka."
